Absolutely loved the food hereeeee! There is a restaurant above this design shop. You walk in then go upstairs the stairs as you walk up, you can smell the deliciousness! I got the quesadilla, potatoes, veggies, soup & bread with a very yummy tart dessert!! Food is a good portion to the point where you don’t even have room to eat dessert but you eat it anyways because desserts look so amazing and taste so great. If you are looking for a lunch or dinner or tea or coffee kind of thing this is your place plus you have a beautiful view of the castle too:)

I'm a local, and the Design Centre is my favourite spot in KK for a Saturday morning coffee, or even lunch if I'm lucky enough to be off during the week. My favourite aspect of the restaurant is the food, combined with a beautiful, spacious, bright space to sit back and relax.
They always have several vegetarian options available, and the quantities are very generous.
It can be pricey, and in my opinion the full meals offer better value for money rather than just coffee and cake. It gets really busy around lunch time, as it's directly across the road from Kilkenny Castle. As an occasional treat, it's hard to beat!
