  I was referred to the A&E Department for an Xray today and I was deeply impressed by the high standard of treatment which I experienced. Unfortunately I did not record all the names of the staff who looked after me. Following my Xray a nurse/practitioner, Fiona, attended to me. This was one of the most professional medical meetings I have had this year. Fiona's intelligent questioning, advice and high level of interest was evident throughout and I left the hospital with a renewed faith in our health service.

  Acute Medical Assessment Department.
  
  I was referred by my Doctor to attend a medical assessment on July 10th 2017 after having ongoing problems. On arrival I was met by a friendly receptionist who I gave my details & Doctors letter to & was shown where to wait. It was a long day admittedly, 7 hours to be exact but they were extremely thorough, the Staff Nurse took bloods, the Doctor spent time with me talking through my problems & my lifestyle, I was completely comfortable & didn't feel rushed or pressured, a different Nurse did an ECG, she was extremely friendly & made me feel completely at ease & then the Staff Nurse took me down for a CT Scan where I was met by a total gentleman who explained the procedure, gave me a little cup to put my earrings in & as the nurse had previous, made me feel totally at ease. Thankfully all the test came back positive & after once again after speaking with the Doctor & looking at other possibilities to my problems I went home.
  The hospital was clean, everyone was friendly including the girl in the café when I bought a coffee at lunchtime, I just wish now I had remembered names to add to this but honestly the experience I had at St Luke's Hospital was exceptional & I would give them 100%, no problem at all.

  Amazing staff in Paediatrics, the Nurses, Doctors, Kitchen Staff & Cleaning Staff couldn't of being nicer to my son & I. The Nurses & Doctors saved my sons life & I can't possible thank them enough. The speed, precision & professionalism in which they acted saved my boy. Thank you to all from myself, my son & my family.

  Fantastic and helpful staff here, can be a long wait for Medical Card holders though but that's not the fault of the staff.

  I would like to thank,the doctors and nurses,from a and e and the surgcial ward for all their great care and attention nothing was left undone,those great nurses work so hard for us and so polite to everyone even when under a lot of pressure.So well done to you all and thanks again.Nellie Curran
