Enjoyed the tourist train and got a good oversight of Kilkenny. You can then chose what you want to go back to and visit. Informative driver told us what to look out for and had an nice informal delivery. Those Kilkenny people can talk up a storm, which is just what you want. Got the last train of the day which went at 5pm not 5.30. Maybe it was just our day, but be careful.

Lively Irishman driving the fun train tour. We took the last tour of the day at 5 pm (had reached the place 15 mins advance but enjoyed lovely Irish music while waiting). The tour lasts for about 25-30 mins and takes you through 10-15 main locations with the commentary. The kids loved it..money well spent.

Your driver was very nice and would stop to help get pictures of sites you couldn't photograph from the seats. Very pleased. Money well spent.
