I'm glad that the service is available but the place is old and dirty.
From Waterford Plunkett Station you get in 5 -10 minutes walking distance to Waterford Bus Station, 10-15 minutes walking distance you need to get in the centre.
Nice shop
Information desk staff at this station were extremely unhelpful. He claimed my ticket to Dublin was invalid. He then wrote down a phone number to call to find out how to get it resolved. The man who answered told me it was perfectly valid and to pass the phone over so he could confirm that with the station agent. Information agent demanded to know his name as if he thought he was lying! Very stressful end to an otherwise pleasant birthday trip to Waterford. Ticket checkers and on-train staff were lovely and very helpful in comparison.
Functional - plenty of cheap parking, nice shop/coffee bar and the usual facilities. Look forward to the redevelopment
Tavelling to Dublin on the seven oclock morning train a few days ago.I am a pensioner I asked for a return, without even asking* he* slapped the ticket on the counter and when I said I have free pass he said why didnt I tell him that .He looked bored at his job and I walked away thinking some man would give anything to have a job and a soft one at that .No manners whatsoever .There is no atmosphere in that station ,its cold and clinical.
