  The Sun was out on the day we went to Kilkenny Castle ,sat on the lawns for a picnic watching the people go by, later we listened to the busker out side ,Just the perfect day.

  The restoration has been done very well the Castle is quite nice and the gardens are beautiful. Only down side is parking and you would have to make couple of rounds before getting a spot. The best place we found to park was the Overflow Bus Parking little ahead of the Castle. The Buttler slip and market nearby are nice.

  Such a BREATHTAKING structure of architecture!!! It is the pinnacle of beautiful decor and Irish history. Take the tour, you will be fascinated. My family and I loved this castle so much, it is simply incredible. From Meagan, Utah, USA
