Was last in the bar, 10+ years ago. Service hasn't changed,unfortunately. Fantastic location and probably the quirkiest bar I've ever seen. Shame I felt like a stranger once again.

Great Hospitality by perfectly friendly Host Seano!
We spent our Holiday in Ireland and stopped by the Darrynane Beach where we accidentally found the Keating's Bar! Seano told us a bit about the area, gave us good advise/hints on hidden tourist attractions around, and - last not least - delivered us great lamb- and tuna-sandwiches! :-)
If we will ever come back, we will definitely visit Seano again!
Great place to be close to the sea!

On a bright, warm May evening at low tide we waded across the tidal flats from Lamb's Head Road to Keating's for pints and roast lamb sandwiches. The Irish Tourism Board couldn't have scripted a better day. I wouldn't recommend going out of your way to visit Keating's, but if you're staying in the area or at the beach, you really should go, it's an old time experience.
