Frendly host and good homemade cakes
The owner probably had his reasons why he put up a sign like this. When we visited the place to get a coffee and some sandwiches he would talk to us a lot and be friendly and interest even though we've been laughing loudly. Therefore I'm pretty sure that they didn't mean happy Americans when they made the sign but loud and ignorant ones and y'all should check on your behavior in different countries since those people are just offering us to stay and get to know their culture.
Very cozy place with good coffee and a rustic home-like atmosphere. Their bakery products are delicious and the owner was very friendly 😊
A lovely spot. Great coffee and cakes, mad cosy kitchen looking out at the sea. Perfect.
Definitely not child friendly. Expected a 9month old to be outside even though there was plenty of space inside and the buggy was small. Rude owner.
Apparently the hostel was closed in september when we were hiking the kerry way. Even though the owner was inside and saw us, it didnt seem necessary to him to open the door and speak to us like humans do it usually to communicate this kind of information. He just used some gestures! Later we were told from some residents that one week before, some other hikers had a similar problem when the owner wasnt even availible (!) even though they booked their beds in advance online!
Lovely place, great views, didn't get a chance to taste his food as he didn't serve breakfast
What a wonderful place to be. I've never drunken my tea and eaten my cake at a more lovely scenery. If you're in Waterville, that's the place to be.
Very nice and comfortable place. Feels like you are at home. Tasty sandwiches and home made cakes, great!
