Horrible weather 😞Wonderful staff and the whole place made me forget weather and had a amazing 1 night stay , was working 😒Arrived in darkness, left in the Rain , but left refreshed and smiling 😁Its probably one of the best hotels in Ireland, I have stayed in lots 😏Well not Castles or Country Manors Hotel’s 🧐🧐Normal Hotels 😳Like lots , But it’s a Stand Out place for me 👍*5

240e for Saturday night bnb. Excessive pricing. Average food in the restaurant vegetables not cooked would order of the bar menu. Nice bar and staff. Spa ok but small. Bed amazing. Nice location. Hotel was full and there was no place for parking. Took 30mins to get breakfast.

Located in the heart of Ballina the Ice House Hotel is an experience worth having. The staff are friendly, helpful and a delight to interact with. Food is wonderful, cooked to perfection and very well presented. Parking including disability bays provided. Room is lovely with full wall windows giving exquisite views of the river and birds upon it. Highly recommended. Check their website for special deals.

Second visit to the Ice House and it was up-to expectations. Had the Harvest Dinner which was exceptional. Stayed overnight and the room was very comfortable. The Irish breakfast just hit the right spot (very good).

Beautiful setting, stylish hotel with an interesting history. Food is really good and the staff do care what you think about it. Great base to explore North Mayo/ South Sligo from.

Stunning location and fabulous river view rooms. Loved the outdoor hot tub. Fabulous meal in the restaurant too. Would definitely reccomend for a special stay.

Everything is perfect. Staff are so professional and friendly. Rooms and food are of the highest level. Can not fault it. Second time visiting and already looking forward to the next time

This is a great place to stay in Ballina.
The hotel features rooms decorated in modern style, plus a number of 'heritage' rooms, in the old part of the building. I've stayed in both and enjoy the different aspects of each.
I love the restaurant, both the space and the food. However I notice when they're exceptionally busy in the evenings the staff are *literally* running, making me think the hotel is skimping on staff, never a good thing.
Speaking of staff, you always get a friendly welcome at the Ice House, and very attentive in the restaurant too.response / report this review -
