Great food and lots of it. Location near to but not in tourist hot spots like Westport and Cong means that tables are usually available even at peak times. Well worth a visit.

We stopped for lunch at the Lough Inn (in Cloonagheen, Partry, Mayo, Ireland) on our way to the city of Westport, Ireland where our family name "Lough" supposedly originates. We had a very nice lunch and were very impressed with the service and hospitality provided by Ms. Joyce who took very good care of us. She was a sweetheart! It was a welcome stop on our long crazy journey across Ireland looking for our family roots. I hope to come back to the Lough Inn some day in the not too distant future. P.S. I hope you enjoyed the gifts from the Cleveland, Ohio Rock-N-Roll Hall of Fame as well as the Nations Capital coin I left. Please take care of our mom's (Mary Lough) book mark and let us know if it created any interest. Thanks again for having us. Dan Lough - Cleveland, Ohio USA
