Nice place. Free access. The thing I liked most was that there was nobody to tell me not to climb on things, and I could get quie high.

Worth a walk down from the Rock of Cashel. Way less crowded and much more fun to explore on your own, although it is in much worse condition then the Rock.

Free ruin, access via paved path going through field with cows (beware cow-bombs on the path!). Stunning view to the rock.

We were lucky to spot this beauty while at the Rock of Cashel! It was just a walk through a field and a jump over a rock fence to get there. So worth it.

My family and I loved exploring these ruins. I think we spent close to an hour here, just looking around and taking pictures. Free and always open.

What a great free attraction, wish they had a donation box to keep it up. Beautiful ruins and view of the Rock of Cashel. Quick walk through a cow field. Just imagining what it would have been like to spend time here is haunting. Georgeous and magical spot.

Old Abbey in great condition! No admission fee, just wak there and have a look around :-)
If you dont want to spend your money on rock of cashel at least visit this place!!!

It's very close to the Rock of Cashel and there's an easy to follow public footpath leading to the abbey. It's very nice and peaceful.

Absolutely worth the visit. Skip Cashel; this beautiful place isn't mobbed by tourists or covered in ropes preventing you from exploring. You can go everywhere and see everything, and it is nearly empty of others. Easily one of the most stunning places I've ever found while travelling.
