Great rooms and host: a nice place to stay. However, Bruff (the city it is in) is not the best location for sightseeing as there is not much nearby.

Cool B&B in the middle of downtown. Nice grocery store just outside. Nice and cozy fireplace, and breakfast area. Food was good and Miriam was very nice, however the room we stayed in was rather loud due to the streets right outside our room. Otherwise we would definitely stay again!

Miriam and her family does a great job with this nice B&B. Always helpful and chatty with the right amount of familiar hospitality. Rooms a clean and very much like in hotels and the breakfast was fantastic. I would definitely go there again another time with my family.

They more than live up to their reputation. The owner is a dynamo, juggling kids, guest and everything else.

Miriam, the owner of The Old Bank B&B, makes you feel welcome every single moment without being intrusive. She gave us some helpful sightseeing advices too.

We loved the victorian-style interior of the house and our room. The room faced the backyard and was very quite.
The TV was old and very small, but we hadn't had the intention of using it anyway. There are better things to do in Ireland than watching TV :-)

Sitting in front of the open fireplace with a cup of tea and cake (free of charge :-) was so relaxing after a hard days work as a tourist.
The full Irish breakfast was a sensation - very fresh (Miriam's husband runs a butcher shop) and perfectly made!

The wi-fi was available in the public areas as well as in our room.

Bruff itself is very small but next door is a Spar market, a cash point and a very good restaurant 50m down the street.

    Anja & Dirk
