  Absolutely fabulous just doesn't do it justice. Great location, great views, quality just shines through everywhere. Buried in delightful countryside with a range of walks to suit all abilities, the Aherlow House Hotel is an amazing place to stay. We will return as soon as time allows.

  I love Aherlow House Hotelbeen here a number of times over the last 2 monthsHighly recommend the chicken ceasar salad.Be prepared to have a little wait for lunch but I prefer to eat freshly prepared food.The staff are very friendlyyou could easily have a full day out here..this place is amazing.

  The beds were comfortable and the view was to die for. We had a sick son during our visit and staff went the extra mile to make sure that he had what he needed to feel comfortable.

  Spent a weekend with friends recently in the lodges of Aherlow House. They were set among the most spectacular scenery and as we were a golfing group there was great space in the lodges to cater for us.
  The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. We had a great time and will be back.

  Definitely wouldn't go back for lunch. Had to wait a half an hour to be served even though we were the first in when the Bar opened. Got a dirty glass and fork. For the money you pay, it is a rip off. Portions tiny, got only one slice of brown bread with soup. Still starving after the meal. You would do far better with a takeaway from the Chipper. Only positive was that staff serving were nice. It is a in a nice location, It is a shame that they can't up their game. Get Francis Brennan. First impressions are lasting. Never again!!!!

  The staff were friendly, the food good, and most importantly the views absolutely gorgeous. The lodges are the perfect base for wandering the near by country side, they come equipped with full kitchens and cloths washing facilities.

  Very good value self catering lodges. Perfect location, with the best view i've had from accomidation. The hotel itself is very nice, lovely staff, tasty and good value food! Reasonable drink prices, saturday night live music :)
  Great hiking or walking spot some lovely mild forest trails leading from the hotel, some more advanced towards the galtees.
  I will definitely be back!
  My only complaint would be that in the lodge we were in some of the heaters only worked at night so the main room was a bit drafty but cosy with a fire, just needed to be a bit more wrapped up. The emersion took a long time to heat up too.
  Great idea with the sog friendly lodges!!
