A great tricky course with plenty character
While photographing a wedding in Carlingford Ireland. I heard the groom was golfing with his friends and family before the wedding. I stopped in unplanned and the staff were great in helping me find the groom. They even offered to allow us to document the bride and groom on the property ---very nice staff
Absolute Gem . Stunning in places challenging in others but always enjoyable.
Excellent golf course and clubhouse. Friendly staff and membership. Mix of links and parkland. Good challenge for any level.
One of the finest golf clubs in the couy
Top class golf course. I would not consider myself an avoid golf player, But I do enjoy visiting and playing at different course. Overall the course is very good indeed, its good for both amateurs and avid players alike.
Greenore has a lot to offer, it has a wonderful little restaurant and bar which overlooks Carlingford Lough with amazing views of the Cooley Mountains and the Mourne Mountains.
A very scenic course. It's easy to be distracted from your game whilst surrounded by such beauty. Approaching the course you'll first see the cypress(I think😬) lined fairways. There are many generous fairways which is useful as the wind will have a say where your ball will lay. Swing easy, keep it low, and enjoy the view.
Nice course. Some beautiful holes. Difficult on a windy day. A good challenge.
Have now visited the Club twice in the last two weeks. Great location. Stunning views of Mournes, Cooley Mountains and Carlingford Lough. Course in very good condition for October. Warm welcome from friendly and efficient staff. The course is a treat to play, having generous fairways and good greens. Excellent and reasonably priced food to be had in clubhouse. This is a golfers paradise. Can't wait to return.
