An absolute gem. If it's a quiet retreat you're looking for, look no further. Beach, pubs, shop and restaurants within 5 kms. Fantastic unspoilt location.Kilkee around 15 mins drive away. 10/10.

I arrived late in the evening from Doolin after cycling all day. Camped the night here and the place is beautiful you get great views of the coast lots to go see in the area it's well worth staying here as a base for touring.

Lovely setting right by the sea, clean and fresh toilets and wash areas, no play areas for kids but park still under development as the owner was telling us. He told us that a play area and tennis court were being dug out at the top of the site. Low level lighting on the paths were in place, no bulbs in them though. Other campers were pleasant and polite. Would definitely return, but we would leave it till next summer once the site has been upgraded, but still a lovely site.

This is a wonderful caravan and camping park. It is situated in a lovely quiet area and overlooks the estuary where ships can be seen travelling up and down the Shannon. There are a number of beaches nearby where one can go for a walk or a swim. It is a quiet place and so, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The owners, Niall and Marian, couldn't have been more helpful. We will certainly come again.

We Stayed 3 nights during Easter 2017, in our touring caravan.
The owner was very friendly and very helpful and provided a map of the area, pointing out places of interest, great restaurants, and music venues.
The campsite is located central to most of the attractions, with good cycling lanes, coastal paths, cliff walks etc.
The facilities on site were first class, toilet, showers, and launderette.
Wishing I could of stayed longer.
    Hopefully I will return soon.

Great pitch overlooking the sea - we were only people on site as it was end of October

Clean and quiet site. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly owner Niall. Gave loads of advice on what's to see/do. Cost comparable with other sites. Excellent location for cycling and walking. Would definitely use this site again.

Stayed for one night camping. Owner is very friendly guy. Very expensive at 20 euro for two people camping. The facilities are basic, with only two showers for the whole campsite, a euro a go. Toilets aren't in great condition. The site is in the middle of no where with nothing close by. Though it does have a nice campers kitchen with three sinks and fridge which is nice. It did the job, but would prefer to pay like 5 - 10 euro. Not worth 20.
