Best campsite in Ireland! Amanda was so lovely, gave us a tour of the facilities and had a nice chat. Perfect location and facilities were amazing.

Top class camp site. Attention to detail with everything. The toilet/shower blocks were immaculately kept and a credit to the owners. It's the perfect place to be with cycling, walking and hiking all round. It's only ten minutes walk into the village of Doonbeg where you will find restaurants, pubs and a few local shops. The people a lovely and friendly. We cannot wait to return when the season starts again next year. Thank you Jamie and Amanda for a wonderful stay. It's a little gem and it's so good to find a place that is kept so well.

Fantastic place to stay very friendly staff. Every thing you need at site, close to the beach and 10 mins walk to some great places to eat (Morrisseys highly recommended. )

We arrived on an absolutely shocker of a day. And hoped for a space.

Luckily we snagged the little corner spot out of the wind and rain.

The owners were most helpful and friendly of this lovley little campsite. The facilities were immaculate and also had the added benefit if having a drier to dry our rain sodden clothes and towels, which is a major benefit when you drive a 56yo camper 😂

We were able to cook in the dry and eat while the "hurricane" blew around us.

When we tour the west coast again, I'll be booking the corner spot again in advance 😀😀

Fantastic find. Beautiful location, right at the water's edge and five minutes walk to the village of Doonbeg. Spotlessly clean campsite and facilities. Friendly, welcoming owners. Highly recommend!!

One of our favourite camping places in Ireland, extremly friendly owners, best facilities ever and a very quiet night with a beautiful starry sky (no light pollution)!

Absolutely amazing small camping. Amanda took us directly after we arrived and personally showed us everything on the camping place. Facilities are the best we saw in Ireland. I hope this pace will stay so good for a very long time. I am looking forward to visit Strand Camping again.

Hi. Just back from a really great holiday in this campsite. The park was by far the cleanest we have come across. Himself was on hand with advice on the locality and was so helpful even lending his mallet as I forgot ours. The kids had so much space to play. Cheers for a great stay. Marissa.

'Simply the Best' a small intimate site very professionally run. Friendly service, immaculate to say the least we couldn't fault this site.. It's situated perfectly for touring this area. Will certainly be back. Thank you Jamie and Amanda 👍

We had the best time at Strand Camping! Jamie and Amanda were so welcoming and sweet and we had such a lovely stay the first night that we decided to stay a second. Beautiful location and lots if nice walks in the area. The campsite is spotless!! I was so impressed and really delighted. We will definitely return and recommend to family members! Thanks guys :)
