Family run hotel and restaurant. Excellent food and service with s smile. Last week as I was heading from Galway to Dublin I rang ahead an ordered a Rib-eye steak dinner as I was passing Athlone. I arrived to a smile and the wonderful meal arrived on the table within 3-4 minutes. I continued my journey a happy and fortifed. Great place. Enjoy.

Nice restaurant, breakfast OK , "lady" waitress is probably one of the most rude and unwelcoming people I have ever come across . Would certainly not encourage a return to this establishment..

We had two cowboy steaks and one T Bone steak last Saturday night in Claffey's Steakhouse restaurant, an absolutely delicious meal plenty of vegetables, steak perfectly cooked and thanks to Nicola our waitress so friendly I would recommend it to anyone. Why travel to eat a good meal when its right there at your doorstep.
