The gold coast hotel is homely place to stay. Yes it could do with an upgrade but you loose some charm and prices increase. Great location with wonderful views.

Fairly basic self catering accommodation. Clean and warm but very dated. Electricity and gas is extra so be warned. Electrical sockets in the most inconvenient places in the bedrooms next to the door. Both smoke detectors were disabled when we arrived. I haven't seen a TV like this for 10 years. No remote control so you have to travel through 77 blank channels to find anything. If you like basic and the 70s then this place is for you. The location is very nice and the views are terrific. There is a play area which is well Dungarvan town is minutes away by car. To summarise this resort is in serious need of a revamp but location is great.

Stayed in one of the self catering houses surrounding the hotel. Superb. Convienent to greenway and town. Great staff service. Reasonable price.

Always relaxing, enjoyable and nothing is too much trouble for the staff who go the extra mile to make the stay a pleasure.

I had a weekend break here in July. I think it's a good location, golf is good value with a choice of local courses, the Hotel itself is ok if a bit too expensive for a room €100 for a double no breakfast. Got a nice room with a sea view, but needed to move because of the noise next door. Pool is fine if a bit heavy on the chlorine.

Lovely informal place to stay with family and friends. Kind service, good food and a wonderful view overlooking the sea from the bar.

I really liked the first impression of the houses I stayed and it was nice.. But when I tried to cook something the cooker was not understandable at all you have no idea where to turn the knobs to on or off or to regulate the heat Also no towels were provided..

Our holiday home was spotlessly clean - ok, the decor is a little dated but that's the only complaint you could have. Every possibility catered for - all kitchen appliances and cutlery etc. Showers were piping hot and central heating worked a charm when required. Very roomy for a family of 4.

Spent loads of time in the pool in the leisure centre, kids lived it. Changing rooms were a little dated but warm. And the bar serves an amazing Angus beef burger.

Weather was shite but still had a great time here. Would definitely book again!

Fourth visit to resort, staying in lodge in hotel grounds and dining in hotel for breakfast and evening meal. We will be back because of the warm welcome, friendly staff, excellent facilities, value for money, relaxing atmosphere, delicious meals, nice scenery for walks round the block or drives into the countryside. A short walk to the Clonea Strand Hotel gives an appetite for a coffee break and game of ten-pin bowling before strolling back for early evening meal. Fresh sea air helps us to sleep well in the comfortable double beds. We feel relaxed and rejuvenated after our short break, just what we needed.
