Passing through and stopped off on the way to mullingar and asked in service station where to eat with hungry and cranky wife and kids so strongly advised to go there what a good move it was tasty , fresh , fast and frendly with great choice. .. credit due to all the bar man was witty and put a smile on our faces ( tom or Trevor I think) Ps wife not as cranky anymore! !!!!!

Do yourself a favor and stop in here for tea service and a homemade scone. Some of the best service I've had in the world was had here- and it was effortless. You won't regret it. They know the town's people by name and they will treat you like you belong even if you are just passing through. Bonus- the lady of the house makes awesome scones that are worth it even if you are full.
