  Had a booking for this evening. Arrived a little early and decided to have a pre dinner drink. Acknowledged the manager at the door, who was busy apologising to another customer about service, and sat down at the bar Tried unsuccessfully to summon one of the very young waiters who was standing staring into mid space. Plenty of staff, very few customers in the resturant. Gave up after 10 mins - the manager came running back out as we left.

  Overall: Food was good, servers were friendly, but we were completely rushed and pushed out the door, not able to enjoy our meal.
  
  For spending $70+ a head, you'd expect a relaxing dinner. Not the case. This was the dinner we were looking forward to for our trip, and we spent 40 minutes there (would have spent 30 if we didn't take our time having our drinks, which, by the way, my drink was never refilled but rather we were given our check instead) Considering how expensive this meal was, which is consistent with a nicer restaurant, I was very disappointed that we were clearly just dollar signs, which is understandable to any restaurant but not one of this caliber and world-wide recognition. Overall, I left extremely disappointed in the entire experience. There are several other amazing restaurants in the town that I would argue have way better food and extremely better service, so do your research before coming here.

  Seafood restaurant popular in local area, food is quite average and overpriced, lobster and risotto was overcooked, plenty of alternatives in local area worth visiting. Would recommend visiting an alternative restaurant. Oysters were excessively priced for their size!

  Lovely tasty food, great staff. Can sit outside with your dog and made feel very welcome!

  If you like fresh and delicious seafood and a nice atmosphere, fishy fishy is you place in Kinsale. For lunch you will meet lots of families with kids, but if you want to enjoy a quite meal come for dinner. It's definitely a place worth seeing.

  Lovely place. Clean. Excellent attentive staff. Caters to allergens (even seafood!) and gluten free. Delicious meals of a good size. Would recommend.

  The food was amazing, the lady at the door was really nice and helpful.
  The service was a bit unprofessional that's why only 4 star. Otherwise is a good place.

  Recommended by a local chef of the area. The menu changes based on the fish caught for the day! Every bite was amazingly fresh and tasty. Wonderful atmosphere and a "must stop" for all fish lovers!
