Visit a genuine working Donegal railway and get a 20 min run on the railcar . Set in beautiful scenery.Tea and shop on site.

Great little run out along the Loch on a narrow gauge carriage. The kids loved it and the scenery is amazing, as to be expected. The staff and drivers are super friendly and accomodating. There's a small cafe on site if you want to grab a tea and a play area for the kids, which is ideal for occupying excited children while you wait for the train to arrive.

Nice spot and great staff. Simple coffee and refreshments available. If you use the phone for navigation it will bring you to departure point of the railway. My boy has a great time

A fantastic time spent at the railway place, it was great going on the old train build in1832, it's a Six Mile journey, the length of Lough Finn. It has tea and coffee and toilet facilities. The only drawback is it is hard to find,the entrance is not signposted so could drive past very easily. Well worth a visit.

Neat little piece of Irish railway history! Narrow-gauge (3 foot) train that was once part of a railway network that operated in northwest Ireland. The train travels on a 5km section of restored line along Lough Finn, offering beautiful views. It travels at a sleepy 10 km/hour so you will not have to worry about getting nosebleeds :-). Worth the trip if you are interested in Irish railway history.
