Not worth the money! I stayed with EazyCity Dublin for a month and I must say, for the service provided it really is way overpriced! My housmates and me wrote several emails to EazyCity about problems with the house. None of them were taken seriously. A personal visit at their office and calls didn't help either. The kitchen had only one not broken chair, the dishwasher was broken (and still is) since two months. The matresses smell, the roof is a bit leaky, the shower is broken, windows are leaky,
Mostly interns work there and they don't really care or don't speak english.
They serve you very well and have nice places to live.
I stayed almost one month in Dublin and I can say that the EazyCity Dublin team was very helpful and friendly. In my opinion, it is the best choice for short term accommodation in the city. Keep always fingers crossed hoping to meet good roommates during your stay in the assigned house. To conclude, it is a great and organized service, their replies are very prompt and efficient. Highly suggested! Write me if any doubts.
Hi everybody. I'm writing just to try to help people to save money and don't go through a horrible experience when they are in Dublin. I went through the same nightmare which other people who gave their bad feedback went through. They are just about money and they don't mind customers care. I had to leave the house before the departure time, find another place more expensive and far and this because the guy that was working for them and sharing the house was rude, dirty, noisy and another one got drunk and somebody called the police because we all were scared. The house was dirty, and they keep 25€ each person for cleaning. When I was there they were hosting 5 persons in a week that means 125€ . How many hours must an housekeeper work to earn all that money? And the house hasn't been cleaned since centuriesI complained directly with them but no results. They waited more than 3 weeks to give the deposit back, keeping 25€ of course! I told them straight that they must close and find another job. Don't go to this agency.
Overall, a quite bad experience.. I make a shortly summary, starting form the beginning.
2 minutes after I entered the house, the employee gave me a feedback questionaire to fulfil: not even the time to put my luggages in the room, or take a look at the area, I had to answer questions about the overall level of satisfaction. Of course, this is a easy way to get a higher score for their reputation..
The price for the single room is 210€ per week (= 30€ per night). with such a price, I could almost pay a single room in a hostel - in central zone - However, they offer you some kind of assistance that you don´t find in a hostel. This includes help/support for burocratical matters, jobseeking, etc. Personally, I tried to ask them advice and support for jobseeking.. I even paid for an extra job-service. But I have to say that I didn´t get any special help, as the things they advice to do are probably known by everyone who has a minimum of working experience..
Let´s talk about the deposit. Everyone who rent with EazyDublin is required to pay a security deposit of 200€ at the moment of check-in. This deposit should be paid you back in 2 weeks after you leave the house, providing that your room is in good order, minus a fee of 25€ for the check-out (?!?). Well, after I checked out a few weeks ago, I had a surprise: they wanted to charge a fee of 500€, split from the deposit of all the tenants, because an incindent occurred in the house one day, not depending by our behaviour. At the end I was charged by only 25€ extra.. I guess they reduced the amount of the charge just to save the face, after someone clearly showed them intentions to start a legal case.
I give 2 stars just because it is a temporary solution for those who want to move in Dublin and don´t have any other places where to stay. However, once you are settled in, avoid them as soon as you can
Very reliable company, I lived there for 5 months. Very honest and if everything is ok when you leave the house, they give your deposit back. Highly recommended!!!!
Very professional staff. I would recommend their services.
