Great hostel to stay . Little bit noisey up to 10pm with exchange students running around the halls but after that it's all quiet. 24 hour desk, airport shuttle service, great breakfast area, tv room and friendly atmosphere.

A fairly decent hostel (even though it has been my first experience with a hostel)
Fairly close to the city center (about a 15-20 min walk) and a Spar supermarket right next to the hostel. They offer free breakfast (bread/toast, cereal).
The showers and toilets are cleaned daily in the morning, that being said, unless you go right after they have been cleaned you won't find a clean toilet/shower...
The beds aren't the biggest, taller people might want to stay clear here. The stuff they use here seems very dated.

Overall a decent hostel but I feel like 3 stars is still kind of generous

It's a pretty run down old building which wouldn't bother me but it's really just the cleanliness. The bathrooms are not very pleasant, quite a bit of dust and dirt. It overall just didn't seem very clean or comfortable. But the atmosphere was relaxed, there were lots of different people from all over the place. Breakfast is included but that is just three different types of toast with three different types of jam. If you plan on staying longer, definitely use the self catering kitchen. It's a good place if you're just passing through, but I wouldn't recommend it for more than 3 days

We stayed for a couple nights and it was okay. Kind of forgettable, honestly. A bit too far from city centre for us, and hard to navigate to places from there but the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok. Hard to get to from the airport though. And again, forgettable. I think the beds were good

Prison like room (we had twin room = quite expensive), very old and not clean.
Duvet needed to be covered with a single sheet, not convenient, halfway the night you are laying just under the already often used duvet only...yuk!
If morning cleaning of showers with iron buckets doesn't wake you, the everyday check out reminder through speaker will.
If you are then early up after a noisy night to take a shower in the shared bathroom (on a camping it is even better) this turns out to be burning hot and painful.
Then the simple breakfast was ok, but cannot say healthy with only jam and instant juice.
    Never again!

No great hostel and great location but there a lockers!!! Oh this is so exceptional! And a parking!!! Free closed parking!!! Oh my god, it exists in Dublin. But bathrooms have really to be improved water is at 50 degrees. So with sunburns... You ll stay dirty. Price is good but i don t understand why it is at 80 euros at least on internet, this a price of hotel -_-. Personnaly i paid 20 euros that s all

Expect the fact that the staff was very kind and helpful, I didnt like this hostel. My locker was broken so I had to lock my bag directly at my bed. Dorm was way to noisy. The hostel is way too far from Dublin's heart. I would not recommend this hostel. You can definitely find a better place to stay.

Nice rooms with a sink, comfy beds. Toilets on a different level. Card access on most doors

Dublin International Hostel is a welcoming and social environment. It is a large hostel and often is home to groups. When it is busy it can be a bit noisy, but the staff makes sure that everyone is as respectful as possible. Generally, the staff are approachable and knowledgeable. One thing to know, the rooms may or may not have any outlets, so be prepared with a plan for charging your devices. Also, a simple breakfast is available in the mornings.

Really convenient to reach from the Airport and 15 mins to the city center. Nice vibe of a former catholic school.

The self-catering kitchen is horrible! Got sick after staying 1 night.

Very friendly staff, original location and not too far from the Airlink Bus stop. Showers and toilets are very clean, but the showers could use an update. Rooms are very primitive, lockers aren't always lockable, bunk beds can be a bit too short for an adult. Bed linen is good, not too used and as clean as you'd want. The free breakfast is quite limited, but for that price you can hardly complain.
All in all not a bad experience, but with some investments, this place could earn 4 or 5 stars easily. The friendly staff is a major plus!
