Highly recommended, Great food and great staff. It has two bars and a nite club. A leisure centre and kids play area 5 minutes away. Well work a visit.

We were looking for a place to pitch up our tent. The Hotel offered us a place for 40€ next to the Magherabeg Leisure Center. I've never been offered something like that. Between a road, bungalows and a house there were a few squaremeeter grass. The facilities, from a restaurant closed a long time ago, haven't been cleaned since a while though.
The Magherabeg Leisure Center is opening at noon, so we didn't have the chance to shower or use clean toilets either.
I would never recommend it to pitch up the tent there for this price. Sorry to say that, but it's a shame for the Hotel to sell the pitches, at least for this price.response / report this review -

I was pretty surprised how good this hotel is. I was in good few three stars hotels in Ireland there provided much worst service. Room was nice and clean, with good view. Breakfast was served fast and as good as full Irish can be. I got smaller pot of tea than my missus pot of coffee, but no complaints. There was some glitch on payment but it was just misunderstanding. We will be back.

WORST HOTEL I'VE EVER STAYED IM!! The staff are about as friendly as a kick in the balls.mm like
traveled around the world and didn't have to go f I stayed in room 115 an and it was like trying to sleep alongside a bloody hair dryer. I complained and was told to put in a shirt if I wanted to complain at reception. (I came down without a shirt on) Breakfast staff were shite. music over breakfaas either relentless bagpipes or overbearing 90s pop. I asked to turn it down and was told it was for other customers also
The track was Eric Pridez(call on Me) at 8.30am. a nine taste after a night of clubbing til the all hours in Downings..breakfast was a blissful 40mins for an Irish breakfast. thanks. Avoid Downings in Donegal at all costs #bagofshite #worsthotelever #stayawayhotel

Great view, good food and service. Rooms are clean and spacious with view over the bay. Spa facilities available. Looking forward to visit again for a longer stay.

Stayed here in summer last year a good spot for a few nights and revisited at Christmas with the family while in the area. Friendly staff and an excellent selection of food.
