Room was very clean and quite once I found it ,I don't understand the room numbering system 106 on 2nd floor 158 on first floor, anyway, the bed was comfortable the bathroom was fine, it took a little while for the hot water to come in (probably couldn't find the room) but plenty of pressure once it got there. Both the Irish and continental breakfasts were solid nothing to complain about. Had a good stay.

Very clean. Helpful and the waiters/ waitress go out of there way to make your visit there as comfortable as possible. The food is beautiful.

The "Lake" is a local favorite in the Buncrana region. For good reason too!
They have a large traditional pub that serves some of most delicious locally sourced food on its menu.
This is not really what you expect for pub grub, its much more like fine dining without all the hassle.
Large menu selection ranging from traditional fish and chips to steak meals to choose from.
Give it a try if you are in the region, you won't regret it!response / report this review -

My family went for a meal to celebrate our sons first communion on the 4/6/2016 , we arrived at the hotel, To be told they didn't have menus at hand for us , we waited 25 minutes at our table that was covered in grease , we asked for it to be cleaned which was done to an unsatisfactory standard by rude staff, we ordered our food with the waiter, an further 30 minutes the food arrived out, it wasn't as we ordered, but we didn't want to make an fuss , no one came to ask us if everything was OK etc, after a terrible meal we proceeded to leave and pay , we did mention to the girl about the food and the vegetables which were not eatable and i told her if she would like to check the table as we left it there and she reply's " well its in your bill nothing i can do" I've been using this hotel for over 20 years and i never had an experience like it, horrible staff and food , would never recommend here to anyone again. avoid at all costs
