  Simply, the best Sunday Lunch, in the region, ideal spot if you have kids, there is an excellent playground across the road from this Pub / Restaurant. It's possible to enjoy a flawlessly prepared Sunday roast here, and watch you kids, happily playing just a few meters across the quite road. Great food, great value, kids sorted entertainment wise, the beautiful Clare Glens walk, just a short drive away, what's not to like! Honestly some of the best roast beef I've ever eaten, I've had here! Portions are very generous too, the deserts are simply huge! It's worth the drive, especially in the spring / summer. Hats off to the Claw, highly recommended, and I'm fussy about my food.

  Very busy on mother's day and normally on a Sunday but when a waitress took the order, she was told that the person I was with was in a rush for a train; she returned ten minutes later asking what was our order, only to be followed in another ten minutes saying that there was a problem in the kitchen. Other than that very good as long as you are not in a hurry. Better off that they said that they were too busy allowing one to make a decision as to stay or go.

  Nice friendly atmosphere.good food very popular on Sunday evenings good sport for whole family.music most weekends courtesy bus available for patrons.

  Food was really nice. Service was abit slow hence docked one 🌟 but would go back in the morning 😊
