Best bookshop in Galway. A lovely way to spend a few hours in the rainy west. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Love this bookshop.. a brilliant blend of old and new treasures to read. Rare books, unusual books, speciality books and monthly and annual publications. The kids love going there too..

Hands down best bookshop I have ever been too and I love going to bookshops. They stick a great balance between new and old books. Nothing like picking up a book and finding an old bookmark or receipt showing how far it might have come. Or a note on the inside of a cover of an wanted Christmas present from a loved one.

Like any great bookshop this place is more of an institution. Over the decades it has provided an escape and inspiration to countless minds both young and old. Today it's bigger and better than it ever. If you live in Galway its just part of you life and if your just visiting well you've not been to Galway unless you've dropped by.
