  i was traveling in a rental car through Ireland and was having trouble with the windscreen wipers. I stopped at Athlone Tyre depot, fully expecting to buy new wiper blades to fix the problem. instead, they cleaned the windscreen with some sort of solution and a bit of newspaper, and the problem cleared right up!
  
  The service folks could have taken advantage of my american accent and lack of local knowledge and charged me 50 euro and I would not have even known. I greatly appreciated their kindness in this, and the gentleman wouldn't even accept a tip!
  
  I could not recommend Athlone tyre depot more.
