Nice old hotel, realy cheap
Super spot. Great location and fantastic staff. Excellent Food.
This hotel was booked for us by John, who owns CYCLE TOURS IRELAND. It was a one night stay on an amazing week of cycling. The hotel's name refers to the gentlemen who flew the first transatlantic flight from Newfoundland which landed near Clifden. (Read TRANSATLANTIC, a novel by Colum McCann before you travel to Ireland!) The rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfast filling and with lots of choice. The location was ideal for wandering the town after a day of cycling. Go across the street to the grocery store to buy a cup or tub of locally made ice cream! The pub was modern and quiet - nice for visiting. The staff were very friendly. Thanks for the warm welcome to Ireland and for accommodating John, his bicycles, and all of his group!
Such a beautiful hotel staff amazing food great room very clean and spacious would recommend this hotel to anyone
Nice hotel, but pretty loud at night and especially when the trash truck came around.
The water in the shower took several minutes to heat up but all in all I would stay again.
It's a genuine family run hotel, with friendly service and fab food. Yum yum. Also I love the location as I can sit in the cafè and watch the world pass it has a 'Hogan Stand 'view of the square !!
Decent value for money. Just stayed here, didn't eat. Rooms quite nice and cosy!
