  This area has some great views and the caves were a lot of fun. Tour guide was very helpful and informative. The entrance included a bird exhibit and another area where they made cheese. We did not have time for the bird exhibit tour and did buy cheese, which was very good. Overall great experience and recommend stopping by here.

  Have visited a few times now and really enjoyed it. Definitely a great place to bring older kids for a trip. The guides are really enthusiastic and engaging and the staff in the visitors center were very friendly.

  Amazing view of The Burrens here and the caves are really cool! They have a cheese shop at the entrance where they make their own cheeses. The drive was through narrow roads but definitely worth the trip. We went at the end of September and there were no crowds.

  The entire place is great to visit. The caves are very fun and a cool experience to have (literally). The shop by the bird of prey has the most amazing fudge I have ever tried. The birds of prey itself is very informative and it allows you the chance to get a rare, up close look at these magnificent birds. I would definitely recommend this to anyone

  I would highly recommend visiting here! The staff were all very informative and friendly. I found the Birds of Prey showing very informative and I appreciated how they allowed audience members the chance to hold and feed the birds. My wife and I also went on the hawk walk which was a very incredible experience as well! We were able to fly hawks, while enjoying the beautiful Ireland forests. The cave tour was very informative, as the guide explained how the cave was originally formed and how certain phenomena such as the last ice age, shaped its history. The drive up was also very beautiful, full of abandoned stone castles and vibrant vegetation. If you're looking for an opportunity to enjoy the Ireland countryside, while also learning of unique bird species, I'd highly recommend this trip!

  Loved it! The tour of the cave is great and the birds of prey as well. They have a lovely cafe as well and sell artisanal products and locally produced Burren Gold Cheese

  The overall facilities at the caves are brilliant, including the food store and the birds of prey centre. The cave itself was a little underwhelming but beautiful all the same. The tour guide was very good, telling us about the history of the cave. The food at the cafe was excellent, and the seating area upstairs was really lovely.

  Staff are super hot. Especially the hot blonde falconer. Bird of prey centre is really good. Lots of birds and great displays. Cave walk is well done and very educational.

  Aillwee Cave reminds me of an American style tourist trap. A cave, a bird show, and a cheese making operation seem to make for an interesting combination of attractions, but it works. The cave tour was fun, short, and nothing too spectacular, but informational. I passed on the bird show, but did buy some of the cheese on offer in the shop, it was EXCELLENT.

  EXCELLENT Bird Center, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED we went to 2 shows during the day and spent a lot of time walking around the center. It was the most interesting and very educational for all of us. The staff take great care in explaining about the birds they work with and obviously they enjoy their work and the influence they have educating ppl. I lost count how many times during the afternoon the staff went out of their way to explain and foster our kids interest. No matter what the weather a very enjoyable experience. Take a good coat and a coffee to keep your hands warm.
