Great location, service and food

By far the best. A lovely little seaport village. Actons very modern, beautiful, but I could not figure out how to charge my phone. Later, found out I was supposed to flip a switch so they need instructions. Could not charge phone until we were back on bus. Food great, but service poor. Dinner took forever just to order a drink, but food great!!

Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location. Rooms are spotless and extremely comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall good, the rooms on the back of the hotel are on a back street right outside the second floor window which is quite noisy. With windows closed is was too warm. I suspect the room in the front of the hotel do not suffer from these issues. Other wise the breakfast was very good. We ate at a Fishy Fishy which was very good. Menu was limited to fish though. Kinsale is a beautiful town and the hotel stay very restful.

We loved as we were arriving that the hotel is literally right across the street from the river, centrally located, really the perfect spot.
What we really LOVED about the place was the staff. Kim at the front desk was particularly amazing, she spent each day with us going through ideas of day trips, looking at our guide book and helping map out things which were NOT the typical way to do it, and they all proved to be great ideas. She was incredibly helpful and so warm and lovely. The entire staff was really great, from the people who run the bar/restaurant to Chloe who was running breakfast each and every morning with a smile. A great place to stay in a beautiful place to visit. We were part of a CIE tour that includes a great walking tour of the town. Highly recommended
