A nice and welcoming place. Make you feel like home. Quite, staff are friendly, and reasonable prices. Ubad has a small restaurant as well. Awesome.

We had a wonderful experience at Ubad Retreat. This place is in the middle of the nature, surrounded by green vegetation out of the crowded streets of Ubud. They have a nice restaurant with delicious food, spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The staff is very kind, they welcomed us with a warmly "Welcome home!" and with fresh watermelon juices. This place is ideal if you are looking for something quiet, relaxing, for a place to practice yoga, to read near the pool or to release your stress. I don't remember the last time when I slept so good. Thank you, Gus and the entire family for this experience!

Simply put Wow! This place took my breath away.
Never met such genuinely friendly and helpful staff. The place is amazing. The room was really clean, spacious and the bed was very confy.
The services they provide are top notch: scooter rental, massage, trips around ubud and many other at very good prices. You can also serve lunch or dinner (try the main course "nasi campur" and their fruit salad called "es buah" you won't regret it).
Highly recommand!

Excellent!
For me this is first accomodation that made me feel like home. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were really surprised to see that the host took their time to research how to say "thank you" and "good night" in our language.
They also have a restaurant in which they serve great indoneasian food.

Amazing and a quiet place to stay in Ubud! All the hotel staff is extremely sweet and helpful! They also provide a shuttle service to and from the Ubud Palace (market place). The period of our stay and my dad's birthday coincided.. and the hotel staff arranged for a cake for us.. and many of them came to greet us and wish my dad!! It was a pleasant surprise and we completely enjoyed our stay! The breakfast offered at the hotel is a must try especially the Indonesian traditional breakfast.. was totally authentic and delicious! As it is 10 minutes away from the main market area.. we even saw a few monkeys near the villa! All in all a complete Ubud experience at the Ubad retreat!

Extremely friendly and competent service, very nice bed, nice pool. If the bathroom would be updated it would be a true luxury hotel, but highly I recommend it as it is.

Welcome to your new home in Ubud! This is how we were received in Ubud :) Ali and his family put in great efforts to make our stay in Ubud a pleasant one. Yes, it did feel like home. He also provided us with a free shuttle service to Ubud downtown. Indonesian hospitality doesn't get better than this! Would definitely return :)

Fantastic family retreat. Comfortable rooms, warm welcome. Near enough from Ubud's great attraction, but far enough from the traffic madness. Highly recommended.
