Chicken soup with brown egg, sosis solo, and chicken liver and dont forget steammed rice. So tasty and i wanna eat more and more. The restaurant is near pasar gede, so after searching some snacks in pasar gede, u will feel hungry and this place is the best choices.

One of my favorite's Timlo places. Very delicious although it's a bit pricey and the place is near a dumpster so sometimes bad smell goes in and it's quite uncomfortable. Prefer to take out though.

Taste good, nice portion, good service, but the place is located near traditional market..so there is like garbage area at behind of the market..and because of that when you eat the food, you will smell the garbage..so that the minus point of this place..

Tasty food. Really loves the taste of the black eggs. If you come here not in a right time like after a rain, an annoying smell can be a nightmare when you eat. But, it's legendary tasty food.

As many reviews said, this place is located near garbage so it might find be inconvenient for some people. The taste of the Timlo is good, but it is not good enough to make me order the second portion. The most interesting about this place is the way the cashier counts when you want to pay the bill. They use blackboard portable with chalk, very unique.

For the food, taste good n light. But i dont like most is, this place is nearby to TRASH STATION, so the smell of those trashes influent this place n my appetite. Hope there is solutions for this problem.

Timlo Sastro brings you delicious food- Timlo. One of the main dishes is "Timlo Komplit". And the mascot of lite dish is "Solo's Sausage" I recomend you to try it.

But it has dirty place actually. There's a little landfill from Pasar Gede.

Timlo Sastro is well-known for tourists to give it a try to dine in at least once so as to deem that they have been to Solo. They offer few choices from the food menu, however the menu notably goes to the restaurant name itself, which is Timlo, it has an unique taste that gives you a memorable food taste in the future as you come back to Solo. For price wise, it's decent rather below average to simply put. Unfortunately, there is one disadvantage to being there as you happen to smell or even see a heap of disarray rubbish just roughly 15 meters across the road and suprisingly the condition has been as such for decades.

Im not a fan of timlo solo, its my first time also so I guess, the taste is fine, fresh, and tasty sup seasoning.

It is a legendary street food, I'like to add it to culinary initerary.

The problem is
They are located in the corner of 4 junction, no parking area (you have to park your car in parallel)
and dirty, super dirty until the air has a bad odor.

Price range : 10k - 20k

The taste is nice. Clear soup, tasty chicken liver and sosis solo. But somehow not really hygienic place. And placed in the opposite of market garbage. The price is average. The Jamu Beras Kencur is nice but seems. Ot the traditional one. So far the best, legend!

Located next to temporary garbage dumping site, this open spaced restaurant almost always invaded by decomposion sour smell. There is limited seats and tables and parking lots. Somehow this restaurant is almost always crowded. Food taste is so so (chicken innards in clear soup broth) and not expensive. The only plus point I can think of was the traditional live music.

Again, a great food in a traditional setting (I.e. beside the street, tent, semi outdoor). The location is beside a garbage dump, which I think is the only negative point. Food is awesome and service is good.

When my friend suggested me to try Timlo Sastro. I couldn't imagine what kind of food it is. But I have to say that I was nice. It made from chicken innards, marinated boiled egg, and Solo Sausage. Don't ever think this sausage made from meat. It actually made from wheat flour.

I'd say they manage to preserve the taste and quality of their food here. I've been here since 2000s, and there's not much change in their taste, so I'd say they manage this place rather well. And if you're lucky enough, you'll see the unique cashier service, coming up to your table, using chalkboard

Timlo is a clear soup with, special from Solo,
It's a fast moving customers, so if you wish to sit & have a long chit chat with your friends, it's not the place.
Everyone come, eat, pay & go in this place.

Makanan sop2an dengan citarasa gurih segar yg banyak dijumpai di kota lain, tp ternyata aslinya jauh lebih enak dan lebih unik rasanya.. terutama dadar telor gulung isi dagingnya.. bikin ketagihan.. harga ga terlalu murah tp sangat sangat masuk porsi dan kualitas rasanya. Ketambahan lagi ada semilir orkestra jawa khas solo yg bikin adem ayem suasana. Turis wajib mampir pokoknya!
