Dolphin Show - a 10 Minutes show at Melka Excelsior Dolphin Hotel, started at around 9.05 finished by 9.15 am. They flipped, stand up, screams/talk, play ball, roll while swimming and kisses you on the cheek (additional charge). Free for those staying in the hotel.
You can swim with the dolphin but for us (locals) it was quite expensive so we pass.

Seriously? You have to take dolphins and put them in pools to attract guests? It's 2017, find a better way to entertain your guests. This is appaling! Never coming here!

Absolutely appalling to see dolphins in a bloody chlorinated swimming pool! They are blind depressed and miserable. With the ocean only metres away that is where they should be. Don't stay at this hotel unless u enjoy seeing animal cruelty at its best.

Disgusted by abuse of captive dolphins. 2017 is the UN year of sustainable tourism. This is not sustainable.

This place captures dolphins from the wild and claim they are 'rescued'. Many dolphins actually die in this process as they often don't last the journey. If you stay here and swim with the dolphins you are supporting this.

Dolphins should not be allowed to be used for human entertainment. Dolphins are sentient beings just like you and me. Dolphins belong in the wild where they can swim free from captivity. Please return the dolphins back to where they belong.in the ocean!

Actually there should be the possibility of giving 0 stars. It disgusts me seeing that someone is making profit by keeping wild dolphins in captivity in a small tiny pool! There is absolutely no point supporting this resort!

Please don't support this hotels cruelty. Please don't go there. Their dolphins are kept under unbelievable poor and cruel circumstances, I cannot believe that this is happening in a country. I feel so bad for the dolphins and I'm really speechless

First we thought nice place. But the dolphins in the pool are really sad. Antidepressiva for the animals and then they are so cute. Such a shame. Book a trip to the free dolphins with the local fisherman and take one of the other nice hotels!
