Lovely, lovely place! The owner Wayan is amazing and so friendly person, love to talk with him. Bungalows from bamboo very eco and stylish. And here is 2 steps to the sea, where is nobody on the beach! You can stay in bed and look at the sea. Resto is very good too: nice food, very cozy and nice view

Had a great stay! Clean room and amazingly friendly owner and staff. All the rooms have and oceanview and you can even sleep outside on the balcony because there is an extra bed. A one of the kind experience! If you are looking for a quite place to do same meditation, reading and yoga this is your place to go!

I stayed in Meditasi for 1week in luxury room and it was absolutely amazing! The room is on 2nd level with the balcony and view on the sea I loved some days to sleep outside and wake up with sunrise,it's just incredible!!. When I came the owner showed everything around, and the staff was also nice and very helpful, they can make and give you everything you need:) it's also very nice to go snorkeling from there, and in restaurant they give cooking classes , where the brilliant woman Ketut will teach you how to cook delicious Balinese food, which is really good for health. I enjoyed yoga classes outside in the garden with professional teacher(I got 2classes for free). For me it was a big pleasure to be there!

Laughing Buddha man is so lovely and welcoming. I stayed in the standard room which was actually really nicelots of space and big outdoor bathroom. 2 bedroom. The restaurant had great food and healing drinks. Everything was perfect for me. Some peace and solitude.

Every time I visit Amed I stay here. The owner laughing Buddha is very humble and genuine; he is a friend and a very inspirational man. Nothing is to much to ask.

If you want to soul search this is the place! if you want to meditate this is the place! and if you just want to relax and watch the world go by this is the place for you!

    Highly recommended!

Very friendly staff and great location on the beach. Big downer were the rave-grade boom boxes from the local fishermen, shaking the entire bay like a volcano eruption. Quite possibly this is their way to halt the sprawl of tourism (which prices the locals out of the market in their own bay. In any case, Medatasi was certainly not "stress-free" as the proprietor claims. Plus he wasn't honest about the noise. He was pretty piss-poor with regards to service in general. Reminded us of the footballer who loves to have the ball, but the ball doesn't love him. Oh, and the suggested price is rather higher, and you'll have a hard time sourcing cash to pay the bill. Bring plenty before you start your long trek down the coastal path. Good luck.
