One of the main transit commuter train station in Jakarta, perhaps the busiest. This station has frequent, timely announcements train departure and arrival, but only in bahasa Indonesia. Since the number and capacity of underground pedestrian platform connectors are limited, switching between platform during rush hours is difficult.

The busiest railway station for local transit in the city. It is the node point of many routes. There are plenty of amenities like a clean mosque and restroom, a charging booth, and many food vendors' kiosks. There are so many platforms, it's better to ask the officer when you are confused that you will be on which platform. It is also quite close to Trans Jakarta Busway Station as well.

I commute from depok to manggarai every day, and this station was quite well manage. They have mosque, parking lot (only for bike), commercial area (KFC Box, starbucks, Roti O, Lawson, Indomaret). Their toilet, maybe due to high demands, was not that clean. They provide ATM center for BNI, BCA, BRI, Mandiri, and CIMB Niaga. If you want to use online transportation apps (Gojek, grab, etc), you can wait right in front of exit gate, and you can search "KFC Box Manggarai" on your apps, usually drivers already familiar with this place.

This is a big train station located in central of Jakarta. This is also a transit station for commuters to change their train. There are 8 lines here, the 8th line is special for Railink to Soekarno Hatta International Airport, but start picking passenger up in Sudirman -Karet Station (special station for this).

Recently this station just upgraded to have sub-cross-line walking area for passengers, so they can get thru lines without have to wait for trains to move first.

There are a few tenants with seatings and also convenient store in this station. Toilet and praying room also available, but the toilet is not wheelchair friendly, so they may need assistance.

The announcement of trains coming and leaving is clearly heared around the station, but Only in Bahasa. However when you get onto the train, they also give announcement in English.

However, they have dismissed a few seats in the platform and replace them with a standing poles to lay over, just to layover. So its not really comfortable for tired commuters, like me.

Large and very busy station with a few entrances/ exits. There are a few underground lines and a railway station with national rail service for Bogor, Bekasi, Cikarang, Jatinegara, Duri/Angke destinations. Very overcrowded and a bit chaotic.

There were long 30 minutes queues to all tickets machines to buy railway tickets and a queue to gent's toilet. I nearly missed my 2nd train to needed destination.

On a positive side: the building is interesting. Many places to eat and to shop inside of railway station.

Manggarai station is probably the busiest and always crowd everyday. This is because Manggarai station is a transit station, where all the train from all destination will pass Manggarai Station. Manggarai station has underpass area. There are a lot of option for food in this place. We can find KFC, Roti 'O, Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, Lawson, Circle K, Alfamart, Indomaret, and many more. There's also an ATM center. Manggarai is also targeted to be one of a station that operate Soekarno-Hatta train. There are 7 platforms in this station. I usually use platform 1-4 to go to Bekasi/Cikarang/Jakarta Kota, I platform 5 to Angke, platform 6 and 7 to Bogor.

The transit station of three commuter lines and terminus of airport rail; make it one of the busiest station in Indoneisa. There are restaurants, convenience stores, etc. It often full used as meeting point for many people. As in 2018 March, the station is under development that planned to be completed at 2019.

To function as one of the main hub for inner city train system, Manggarai is considerably sufficient.
Located strategically, with quite good traffic around the surrounding area.
Has lots of amenities to offer, with food stalls, café, and stores accessible without having to tap out.
The only thing lacking, as I concern, is to fully serve its fundamental purpose. Trains often time enter the pier which isn't designated to. As a result, while having had waited on a rightfully designated pier, I'd have to run across to another pier to embark on a train as I intended to originally.

(EDIT : I regularly commute through Manggarai, I'll update my review when I consider suffice improvement has been put in place)

Juat ordinary station for public transport in Indonesia. You can use line 1-6, every line has different destination. Please check your destination before hop in the train or you can ask security for details. Indonesian will help you.

This is one of the main train station in Jakarta. Here, you can see many commuter train stops and many rails surrounding this area. Convenience store and several tenants can be found here, and the facilities (toilets and praying room) are in good condition. The place is easily accessible to several places such as Pasaraya Manggarai, Transjakarta Shelter, Bukit Duri, etc.

Huge station, many lines, large crowd. Has a lot of places to go: convenience stores, coffee shop, or fast food chain. Toilets are clean, albeit a bit small.

Interchange station to a lot of different lines. The praying room is nice and comfy and the toilets are clean. Not much variety of food stall and restaurant but enough to grab a quick snack.

Busiest train station. Served as transit exchange station between many destination. The passenger flow was a bit poor and it lacked entry access. It will be so much better if there's an access point toward sultan agung street.
