Stasiun ini terdiri 3 lantai , lantai dasar ada minimarket. Kemudian lantai 2 untuk masuk ada loket tiket dan beberapa atm dan pop box , toilet di lantai ini juga. Terakhir di lantai 3 terdapat platformnya.
Untuk tempat perkiran tersedia dan masuknya dr jalan samanhudi sebelum flyover , parkirannya disini barengan sama truk ekspedisi. Walaupun parkirannya seadanya bisa dibilang lumayanlah.

The toilets was clean enough. It is hard to find this station because it is not so visible from the main road eventhough it's a 3 story station building.

This station serves Commuter Line to Jakarta Kota, Manggarai, Bogor. Noted that Commuter Line not stoping at Gambir Station. For they who wants to go to Gambir Station by train could end the journey at Juanda Station or at Gondangdia Station. From there could continued by other transportation. Sawah Besar station location is surrounded by main road. Easy to get here. This station nearby to Pasar Baru and Asem Reges. West side of the station there are some bicycle stores in Tamansari Raya Road. This place well known for its bicycle.
