Good food and price honest. The best Indian restaurant.
Very good curry, we tried 3 and all had great favours.. Naan was really good too

Great indian food in the heart of a party place- Seminyak Bali .. Very good location and prompt service!
Well food cannot be compared as india but still 70 percent like indian chefs are indonesian staff indonesian but taste is good compared to other indian restaurants. 4 stars
This place had some of the best Indian food I've ever tasted. I had the Butter Chicken and my wife had the Fish Curry, both were excellent. The service was friendly and helpful. The buttered Naan was good and the saffron rice was the real deal. If you are in Bali and you like Indian food then you must come here. It is open air with a view of the street, which isn't as nice as a beach view - but the food more than makes up for it. The prices are reasonable as well.
Worst ever taste I had (25.03.18) Instead of apologies the reception counter staff simply smiled at me.
Even chef doesn’t look ashamed of food he cooked.
Do not waste your time and money on this.
Food is good. Service is miserable.
Busier they get, rude they become.
Waited for about 40mins just to give my takeaway order.
If u are searching for indian curries and cuisine, it's sure is a great place as they have great menus and serves tandoori items as well. In budget restaurant with humble staff. U can also have chapati here, good for vegetarians and non vegetarians both.
Nice food. Little pricey but only india place we decent food options
Chef did not take responsibility of food having a hygiene issue. Chef and assistants should were hats to ensure that food is not contaminated. Food ordered did not meet our expectations as we are Indian and live in south Africa. We find the Indian quizine tastes should be in keeping with the standards as set by the gateway of India group of restaurants and also conform to better hygiene and preparation standards. Singh
I had vegetarian indian food. Food was not so tasty. Also, dont like the ambience. Better to eat fruits and instant maggie noodles.
Wonderful food though a bit pricy
There's not a lot of choices for Indian in Bali - this is pretty good, although I've only tried the Lentil dishes which I'd go back for. But it was slightly pricey and doesn't have a view - otherwise they may have got a 5
Excellent indian food. Many varity of indian vegetarian food available here. This Place is extremely recommended.
A decent place with nice food. But the ambience is not that great, it's probably made for a quick bite.
I have been eating there on and off about 3 times, daal soup ia good, naan is okay. Everything else isnt authentic and chain type bland.
HOWEVER, my reason for 1 star - walked in to be seated with my girlfriend to find a bunch of cockroaches on our table. Babies too.
Please beware of eating here for you and your families wellbeing.
not really an auntenthic indian food, but the taste is still ok
Very nice place to visit and great food's taste, the place is clean and well organized, with quick-response waiters / waitress. The price is little bit expensive, but it's worth the taste.
Been going to Gate of India for about 16 years, good Indian food, good value.
It's a average restaurant in the street. Staff welcome was good. I got my order quickly and food was average.
Staff tried to make us comfortable.
However Billing in my case was very much delayed which was bit frustrating.
Overall a average restaurant.
Just not that tasty. Small portions. Staff trying too hard to please and it came off as overbearing. HOT TO SIT AT.
Food is good but very slow service
I love their foods!
Better than Queen's Tandoor
Regular indian food at reasonable prices.
Toilets very dirty..😝
Good indian taste in Bali, in case you are dying for indian taste at Bali or for milk tea, restaurant for you, oasis in desert
It's a hit and miss. Staff are nice and friendly. Naans were nice, fresh and they had a great selection, rice was nice too. Very big menu and loads of options including vegetarian. My meal was delicious (vegetarian malai kofta) however my other half's meal wasn't. My other half ordered highly recommended prawn tika makhanwala which turned out to be prawns in a plain tomato sauce. Can't see why that is highly recommended as it didn't taste anything special (it was bland) and prawns were small and not many of them.
If you like your food spicy then you have to tell them that you want "Indian spicy" otherwise you end up with "Indonesian spicy" which isn't spicy at all. I stressed that I want it very hot "Indian hot" and I got it. Where as my other half asked for just medium hot and it came sweet (no joke!).
**They don't accept American Express (this isn't a complain, it is just for your information:) )**
The ambiance was okish. Papri chaat was yummy.
The staff is really nice
But the food is not tasty and the restaurant is not so clean
I got diarrhea on the second day because of their food 😫
100% not recommended
Its a ver good place to have indian food in bali.. And a very good variety of indian food is availiable.
very delicious Indian vegetarian food although i tired nonveg it wasnt that good
Worst experience. Bad taste n food quality
The roti are delicious and the staff is very friendly!
Great experience for our first time trying indian food. The food was good so are the service and price. I'll suggest to try their cheese naan and roasted papadum
It's simply superb
Feeling bad that I have tested in the last day of my trip to Bali 😔
Got dosa here which made me happy!!! But full of flies. Coconut chutney made from peanut sauce.
Good food, good prices, fast and friendly service
Food was bad. Even, they gave us wrong order. I don't think they have highly trained cooks to prepare Indian foods.
The name sign advertised "Authentic Indian Food" and so we decided to have some vegetarian Indian food here, the flavours certainly weren't Authentic, there was a lack of balance in the spice's. The staff running the restaurant had limited knowledge of the flavours and seemed inattentive.
We tried only three dishes, all vegetarian, we were disappointed and decided to go elsewhere.
Vegetable briyani, Naan, palak panner and curd rice were mouth watering and stomach filling. Tastes just like legit Indian food. Must try
A nice place to stay if you don't want complete luxury. Rooms quite basic and bathrooms a bit older style. However, as we were out sight seeing most of the time and didn't spend much time in the room it suited our needs. Nice pool area and lovely staff that look after you. But far from beach. Wifi available but only in restaurant areas. Food was very nice too.
Very average food and service is super slow. If you like your curries and spices it might be tempted to have a meal but else can be avoided.
Excellent and good variety on menu. Good food, inexpensive, and over and above, very humble staff, serving with a smile..
Must visit.
This is a superb restaurant for all Indian food lovers.. Much much better than Queens Tandoor.
Queens Tandoor has just better ambiance then Gateway of India & that's the reason all Indians get attracted to that place.
Trust me, you will not repel coming to Gateway Of India !!
