meski pun stasiun kecil, semua jenis dan kelas kereta diwajibkan berhenti di Stasiun Cipeundeuy guna mengecek rem karena di sisi timur dan barat stasiun, medannya cukup curam tanjakan mau pun turunannya. tempat buat beli cemilan atau teh daj kopi dari pedagang-pedagang yang berjualan di luar pagar. jajanan murah meriah.

It's kinda a pit stop, a small train station where the train get check before/after having an uphill track. The staffs usually have 15 minutes to check the train. It has a clean restroom and mushala/pray room.

I took the Malabar train from Jogja (Apr 2017) and transited here for around 15 minutes. A lot of street food here. Great views and kinda cold here-even colder than Bandung. If you need some hot drinks or instant noodles you can buy them here at the gate.
UPDATE Dec 2017: Apparently ALL trains from/to Bandung must stop here for brake checks. This station is 700 meters above sea level, so it is so crucial that the brakes work properly. Looking at the photos by other Guides, the vendors at the gate still exist.
UPDATE JAN 2018: The vendors sell food even at night. Don't worry, the food are fresh. Rp5000 for local fried tofu with chile peppers, Rp5000 for black coffee. I was aboard the Pasundan train from Lempuyangan and it arrived 10 minutes ahead of schedule. It stopped for half an hour, so there's plenty of time for a smoking/coffee/toilet/prayer break.response / report this review -

Apabila anda sedang menumpangi kereta api baik itu dari dan menuju Bandung, semua kereta akan berhenti di stasiun ini, untuk digunakan sbg pengecekan sarana perjalanan KA. Hal ini dpt digunakan oleh penumpang apabila hendak untuk mencari makanan dan minuman dari penjual di samping pagar peron stasiun maupun dr kereta makan, have a nice trip!

Stasiun dimana semua kereta wajib berhenti untuk pemeriksaan rem. Kegiatan wajib ini dimulai gara gara kecelakaan kereta dekat jembatan Trowek akibat rem blong. Buat penumpang perokok, stasiun ini jadi lokasi favorit alias smoking area setelah ada larangan merokok di kereta
