A pretty hill near the town where you can overlook Labuan Bajo's view from atop. Since the location is near the airport, we can also watch planes coming and going to the airport.

I went here in the morning. Not willing to see the sunrise but only to see the view. Yupit's beautiful. But unfortunately it will be cut for the new airport runway.

Nice place to view labuan bajo from the hill. If you want to go from Goa Batucermin to Labuan Bajo harbour area, you will passing by this place. On our visit in May 2017, there are constructions for resort in some of the hills, I hope they're not ruining it all of the area and everyone can still enjoy this place for free

It is the highest one, there are some more hills but slightly lower, but this one is more famous. I recommend the others, because they are easier to be climbed. The best time to come here is at 5.00-5.30 pm and wait the sunset around 5.45. Hopefully it is not raining at that time.

Not as expected but I might come at wrong time (around 4 pm). It could be better for sunset. It was a good exercise though. One side overlooks the airport and the opposite to the sea.

Teletubbies mounds, sunset view, the love hill.

Many hills with round shape peaks reminds us of teletubbies mounds. Some hills have names like Amelia Hills, Labuan Bajo. We climbed three hills and have different views. The first is like a mountain range where we can see the island and forest. The other hill is a better angle to see the sea. The hill overlooking Atlantis on the Rock resort is the best view to see the sunset. It is called Bukit Cinta ("Love Hill"). Tall grasses, flowery shrubs, the bay, the sunset and the resort, is really wonderful at sunset.
So serene, peaceful and tranquil.

As for the namesake, many couple came here to sit and watch the sun sets behind the tall grass. This spot gives me the best sunset picture during my visit and island hopping trip to Komodo Islands.

Note: Love hills were all burned down by fire when we got there for the last time.

Spot sunset di labuan bajo, naik motor ke sini cuma 10 menit. Tapi harus mendaki dulu ke puncak bukitnya kurang lebih 15-20 menit tergantung stamina. Indonesia masih indah!
