Staff is incredibly friendly - I really enjoyed getting to know them during my short stay. For the price point, this is a good spot. Note my room did not have hot water and the beds were relatively uncomfortable.

Be sure to stop at Pituq Cafe nearby!

Very comfortable and clean rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the breakfast and there was also free coffee/juice available during the day. You can also rent a bike for the whole day from the hotel.

I had booked the Banana Leaf Bungalows for 5 nights in June 2017. Due to a serious injury sustained prior to landing the owner gave me a full refund, when the booking did not allow this. Absolutely top owner/manager for which I'm very grateful. I wish I could have stayed. Would recommend this hotel on that basis as I have not found this kindness elsewhere on my travels.

Absolutely amazing. All staff are incredibly friendly and will go out of their way to help you. I've never had better service in my life and everyone I've met who has also stayed here agrees with me. The rooms are nice and cosy with good showers and toilets. There's also a TV in every room with a DVD player. Just to there. Norman is the perfect host

We had such a nice time staying here! Just 3 min walk from the main tourist center but just far enough that it doesn't feel hectic. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we even lost our room key (completely our fault) and they didn't even charge us for it. The breakfast is much better than we expected- they have toast, omelettes, pancakes or noodles, with coffee or tea. Comfortable beds, huge bathroom in the room and our own private balcony, there was even a TV with some DVDs in the room. We had only booked a fan room so we were happy to have an AC, it wasn't cold but very comfortable. Wifi was decent, especially closer to the front desk. If you ever need really good wifi (10Mbps), the Taco Corner across the street has GREAT wifi. Fantastic experience! Would recommend.

Not my type of accomodation with this price. Too expensive with no shower gel and toilet papers. Room is dirty with spider crawling on the ceiling. Better avoid.

amazing! staff and guests are all so friendly and funny! great to hang out with. bungalows are nice and spacious, especially if you are used to hostel and budget travelling like i was!!
