I had dinner at Bambu Indah. The restaurant is right on their field where they grow herbs and vegetables they serve on the menu. Wonderful sunset spot. Beautiful swimming pool and deck overlooking the sunset on a picturesque cliff.

Dinner was great. It was vegetarian or vegan. Beautifully served on hand hewn tables. Very unique. The food was very fresh, especially since it was just picked that day, maybe 20 yards away from the table. The real definition is of garden to table.

I highly recommend it. It is a little out of Ubud, but worth it.

Wow what a very cool place! You. Need to go below down to the river and play on the swings and pools. There is a bamboo elevator for the ride back up to the top. This place is over the top!

One of the most beautiful Resorts and restaurants I've ever been to. Unique natural water pool, is 5 star. Complete with the Rope swing and Lounge pods over the river, great for adults and kids. I felt like I was in Disney World but it was real Paradise.

Breakfast Lunch or Dinner or stay overnight in the best ecological "Thinking" and acting hotel in Bali. Just go there! On our eco trash walk we forded rivers and saw real Bali.

The restaurant is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Try the Jackfruit steak, something you never tried before and the flavours are insane! The hotel itself looks amazing and the staff is so attentive! Love it!

My favorite place in Bali so far! Located in a secluded area in Ubud, the whole complex is made of bamboos. The food tastes amazing, and they are organic too. The view is great, with villas overlooking the forest and river. A must see place when you are in Bali.

Turn on your google map. Is located on hidden alley. And the place was great and exccellent but if you come late, the security is not weakup all the time. I have to weak him up when we arrive at 10 pm . I hope they got CCTV for this case.

this is fairy tale land! so authentic and unique (very few places can achieve this)
PS: yesterday I also had eggplant steak: it had no "sand" or "yellow leafs" in it like the last comment insinuates (which btw I also cannot see on his posted foto!)

I am sorry to say this is my worst dining experience in Ubud. I had a Eggplant Steak for dinner (95k with this portion). The eggplant is very salty and the brown rice is very firm to chew. Alright, that was personal reason. Maybe others like salty and firm texture. However, the brown rice had many sands inside (A little bit is acceptable, because that is common with rice, but this one has many so that I had to split a lot). For the salad, some green leaves were already
yellow, which was not something I had expected in a "farm-to-table" restaurant. Service was just okay when they charged 21% for tax+service, especially after I mentioned that there was sands in the dish.

Amazing place! The restaurant is fantastic, with the modern bamboo structures and unique, high craft tables. Food quality is as fresh as it gets, with most of it grown a few meters from the dining room. Very stylish and unique cottages. I stayed in the Banyan house - made of black bamboo with a rainshower partially in the banyan tree. Can't wait to come back with my family and stay in one of the larger cottages! Do go down the stairs to the river and hike around - very worthwhile!

When you go to the entrance, you will think it is just some other place in Bali. It is not a "Grand Sign". Just a simple "Bambu Indah". With direction of where to head.

Unfortunately the main entrance is suited for one car, and from what I see Have limited parking lot.

Once inside, you will feel the different feelings it brings. Everything are made from bamboo (well, mostly).

There is a restaurant at the front, and this beautifully crafted reception area. Try to ask the restaurant lady if you can have a spot at the very back (near the pool). They will kindly say yes.

    Once there

    Just enjoy the scenery.

Oh yeah. They also have a secret path to go downstairs. However you need to pay extra for it. You can see bamboo bridge, hidden cottage, a raft, and unique pool.

Try it after they finished with the renovation.

So far my experience is superb.

Ps : the guy who own this, is the same guy who own Green School Ubud.

No pic today since I upload everything on my cloud database.

What I love most about this place is the nature, they are eco-resort, very friendly with the surroundings. If you want to experience living in the village of Indonesia, you might want to stay here! It's really great place and must try their ice cream sorbet! It's extremely good ice sorbet!

A bit artificial but, overall, well worth your money. Food is surprisingly good, and the structures are put together with great taste and attention to details.
