It's all what you want. Beach View small waves, big waves, private beaches, nice bungalows. I gave 4 stars cause because of this price they can keep renovating from time to time.

Four starts are for the view and location. The hotel itself is average. The rooms are convenient and clean, but the bathroom is horrible, the hot water was not running during the day, and coming from the beach was very difficult to take a shower. However, the location of the hotel will make you forget about anything. it is situated on a cliff, 5 minutes from the surf beach. The water on the beach is crystal clear. The sand is very soft and clean.

A bungalow in a remote place where you can't find TVs but you got so much peace. Want to go to the beach n surfing? Only 10 minutes walking. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise here. Swimming in the pool at night is so pleasure too. Try this one 👍

Decent enough rooms at an average price. Was initially greeted somewhat rudely but staff have otherwise been friendly and helpful. Bike rental is available at average prices and the food, whilst OK is again average value for money. What I will say is avoid the fried snapper (fish and chips). They absolutely ruined what is normally one of my favourite things to eat in Bali.
The pool area is well maintained and fairly busy but the real reason to stay here is Balangan beach which is a 5 minute walk or a minute on the peds. Parking for the day is 3K.

You pay for the location. Which was really nice. However, we only had one morning of hot water in the shower (even though we changed rooms) and massages and scooters were not available anymore at the end of the afternoon, which is a pity. The first room we were in was not very clean either. Staff is not very interested or friendly.

A great place really close to the beach. Bit pricey food for Bali but still decent quality, but worth also checking out the warungs on the beach front. On site massages and they can arrange drivers for you. Closest ATM is at the supermarket a 10 minute walk away. A really beautiful grounds and a chill lobby with mini library couches and a pool table.

Room was 350k, without breakfast, it was clean, twin beds good size and quality, it does get very warm in the rooms so we slept with open doors, staff was very friendly, bathroom is a bit old and could do with a renovation, good access in walking distance from the beach with beautiful cliff view over the beach

Internet is very slow

Balangan is one of my favorite beaches for surfing, it's very relaxing and quite here, go eat fresh BBQ fish at Jimmy's brother !!! Best on the island with great ocean view,

Only went for Dinner!
+ Great Snapper and Satee
+ Nice Restaurant area. Go for the tables next to the pool

- Local food a bit pricy
- Staff not really motivated
- VERY NOISY fridge you can hear all across the Hotel and even further.

Average room with big comfortable bed. Although the bathroom is tired and cheaply looking.
Lots of mosquitos in the room! We were smashing them for like 3 hours.
Wifi is terrible, barely working.
Close to the beach but beach is not the nicest one, can't swim because of the rocks.
No food or shops in the area, really boring.

I would chose another location unless you have your own transport. Taxi fare is ridiculously expensive!! Same price you pay for the room

Very good location. The hotel is 3min walk to the nice beach of Balangan. Nice and clean room. It was nice for our last days in Bali Don't eat at the hotel restaurant, the warrungs on the beach are good and less expensive with a much better view.

It's a trap! The reality of this place was very different from the pictures when you book it online. Only the premium rooms have AC. The basic rooms are separated by a wall and share the same roof so you can hear everything your neighbors say in their room. There is no bathroom door, so pray that your roommate doesn't need to poop. The area is pretty remote and is controlled by a local taxi mob, so the car services like Uber and Go Jek do not go there. The prices to go anywhere are outrageous. We hated this place so much that we decided to stay only 1 night out of 2. The only saving grace of this place is Balangan beach which is beautiful and has great waves for surfing.

Great location for access to balangan beach, and one of the better places to eat around here as well (small local food warungs on beaches in the hutts only) Pool area is nice. However- rooms are a nice size but are not clean! They have clean sheets and towels but the room and bathroom need some maintenance, some bleach and fresh paint would help. And be sure to check your bills for the restaurant as we have had other meals added into ours! Overall for the price you pay it was a good option for this area.

Good price and is very near Balangan beach for surfing. A little bit under maintained in the toilet area. There is only one power plug in the room for charging and it is high on the wall outside the toilet. This is weird. Far from tourist spot however.

BUT:
Beware of the TAXI MAFIA called 'Balangan family transport'! They have fixed, overpriced rates way above the blue bird taxis and it is simply impossible to call a blue bird taxi from this place because they don't drive there to pick you up

I was extremely disappointed by this hotel.
We arrived without booking and asked about rates and availabilities. We decided to take a room, and noticed an hour later that there was no water (that was already the case for over 4 hours). The staff was very rude and told us in an aggressive tone that if we weren't happy, then we could just leave. They didn't care about customers, and made no efforts whatsoever.
Contrarily to all the other hotels around, they don't include breakfast, and furthermore, there's no hot water. Definitely not worth the money, even though I have to admit that the pool area is nice.
Finally, and this is obviously not the hotel's fault, Balangan beach is great for surfers, but otherwise forget it; due to the ground, you can't swim there.

The hotel itself is very nice, the pool is good maintained and the bungalows are very comfortable yet a little dark. The sea nearby is rocky when low tide and is therefore almost impossible to go without swimming shoes. The real problem here is the staff, they are not helpful at all and don't even show willingness to help you or tell you information. The first guy told us breakfast was included and the next day they told us it wasn't. The hotel is a little remote and you normally need a car or a scooter to get out. They can rent you a scooter, but I would say it's better to come with a rented car or a scooter from another place for when leaving. If you think so much they would threaten you and tell you they have other customers to rush you into renting a scooter. They have ridiculously overpriced fares to get out to Kuta or Sanur. I won't be back unless I already have a scooter or a car.

Great little hotel, the real Bali, fantastic staff whom adored our kids and made them feel totally at home. Highly highly recommend!
