Nice looking and well located hotel, spacious ballroom and lobby. The room service is quite good too but unfortunately the parking area of this hotel is rather bad.

Maybe the building was a bit old, so there were things malfunctioning here and there. Our room initially had smelled of cigarette smoke (we had especially asked for a non-smoking room), until they moved us to a new room. The shower was a pain, because no matter which way we turned the faucet to, it sprayed only hot water. In the end we use some of the water from the sink, which couldn't be completely turned off (again, no matter which way I turned the faucet to, up, down, left, right, the water kept flowing with various strength). That was the most inconvenient as we were travelling with a toddler who couldn't stay still and needed to be showered as quickly as possible. Also the air conditioner was VERY noisy; groaning and vibrating the whole time, like we were staying next to a sleeping dragon. It definitely needed maintenance asap!
The pool was pretty good, though. I loved the room view to the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the restaurant was nice too. Breakfast food wasn't too widely varied, but tasted decent. The building itself was located near the city centre, very accessible. Aside from the shower debacle, the hotel had potential, if only the hotel management was willing to keep up with the maintenance the building obviously needed.response / report this review -

Once a time ago, this hotel was had excellent accomodation. But now, i think there's lot things to do to make This hotel back to the game.. The carpet in room is dirty, we sense bed smell in the room, noise from the street is very annoying, shower running slowly, breakfast was not good But the staffs are very nice, they have a good pool and great location..

Bad
Choose Horison because their name, book several rooms, but they held concert that annoys our rest. It should be a good sleep after 21.00, but they held a concert that reach our room at 5th floor.response / report this review -

The grand ballroom just more expensive than Le D*** Hotel for Half day meeting service. I think the only reason is the size of ballroom. Its so huge. Just that. The service umm nothing special..

Their private rooms are Rp1jt per hour which I find to be crazy expensive and does not include any coffee, tea or snacks.

Almost always stayed in this hotel whenever visiting Serang. My last visit made me think twice before staying here again. The reception staff could have been more professional. And be sure you have all transactions recorded in writing to avoid double-charging.

The room is not too spacey. And the lobby lounge is big enough but its hot. I think the aircon need to be improved. Breakfast is average. This is my 2nd time staying here. I hope the price wont be too high.

A supposedly five star hotel, located in a developing city, not much eateries available outside of hotel. In room dining is average and the restaurant does not serve alcohol, staff is friendly, room is spacious and cozy with a sizeable bathroom. Usually not crowded though parking can be tricky as it has a 40 degree incline ramp access from the main parking to the rear parking. Stay slow or risk scraping the nose of your vehicle

I like the pool. It's open for public. Pool is 1,5 m depth and you gotfree drink and free towel for 55k.

Hotel is really showing its age. Rooms are clean and bed is good Yet everything needs to be remodeled. Rooms aren't soundproofed, on busy and loud road. Staff is friendly and many speak English. Acceptable, if you need to stay in this area.
