  The cottage is quite pricy. The food isn't really tasty. But its located close to the main street.

  I used to stay here around 5 years ago. Back then, it was a gleaming hotel ready to host people that come to visit sumba. Nowadays it's a bit rundown and need updates on decor, a lot of repair are needed to make this hotel more enjoyable. But if you just look for a place with a lot of clean water, nice bed to sleep and hospitable owner that will take you around Sumba personally, I suggest you check Monalisa Cottages.

  I stayed here almost a year ago now, so i'm not sure if much has changed. It took about 20 minutes to find someone who could check us in. The room was nice and big, no hot water but comfortable bed. Breakfast was average. Wasn't expecting too much though. If you need somewhere to sleep its not a bad option.
