This is barely an airport by global standards. If you are trying to fly in to Malang, I highly suggest you use Surabaya airport about 1 hour away. Don’t make the mistake I did!

Small airport, not enough restroom especially ladies room, after arrival usually long queueing. Need more improvement considering now Malang us one of the top destination for tourists who wants to visit Jatim Park. Also need more chairs/sofa for passangers waiting their flights

Still with the same facility since the last time i've been here. Quiet, far away from houses and fresh air. The roads got fixed so it gives us comfort driving. Keep the good working. Hope its getting better and better

Small and well-maintained airport. But something wasn't quite right.
I had a morning flight last month so i arrived at the departure building quite early (6.30am probably) but the airport was still close! That's ludicrous as many passanger like my had to wait to the staff to open the door and started check in. I don't want to talk about arrival building. It just so sad. Hope they'll fix this soon

the airport is small, but the cleanliness is maintained.
his departure is better than his arrival,
roller conveyor luggage only along the length of approximately 4 meters
waiting room departure there is a playground for small children
so when the schedule of the delay plane do not worry bored kids.
hopefully the future is even better.

small airport. the seating is only minimal but neat and clean. the service from the concierge is very friendly, firm and quick. to park the car in a fairly narrow vip section.

Bandar udara satu - satu nya di kota Malang.
Lokasi bersebelahan dengan pangkalan TNI Angkatan Udara, dan Landasan Terbang juga menggunakan landasar terbang milik TNI Angkatan Udara.

Dulu, lokasi terminal juga di dalam kompleks panggalan TNI Au, tetapi sejak tahun 2014 (atau sekitar itu) dipindah ke luar, sekitar 100M sebelum gerbang masuk ke pangkalan.

Karena landasan yang kecil, hanya pesawat kecil saja yang bisa masuk ke Bandar Udara ini. Terminal juga kecil. Tetapi cukup layak. Proses boarding penumpang jalan kaki melewati landasan, karena memang dekat.

Hanya ada beberapa penerbangan saja, setau saya hanya ada tujuan Jakarta, Bali, dan Balikpapan. Juga baru baru ini ada tujuan Yogyakarta.

Jam operasional hanya dari pagi sampai sore, flight terakhir sekitar jam 3 sore, sehingga selepas jam 5 sudah tidak ada kegiatan di bandara ini. Jadi kalau mau parkir inap setau saya tidak bisa.

Sekitaran Bandara juga ada pedagang makanan dan juga minimarket, dan ATM Center.

Tapi karena jam operasional yang terbatas (Sementara ini) maka semua toko tersebut juga tidak full 24 jam

Local airport with very nice services. Has just been renovated with a new look. Departure and arrival is now at different buildings. Clean and air conditioned. Has english translations for most announcements. Has executive lounges. One of the problems is that if the weather is not so good, airplanes are diverted to Juanda airport, Surabaya. So better not take early flights or arrive early when at rainy season. Howevee transfer from Surabaya to Malang will be provided by airline if flight is diverted. Maybe arrival building needs renovation, it is getting too old. I rate this airport 8/ 10 overall.

No idea why people gave this airport 4 or 5 stars.
Seriously the arrival terminal is just going to collapse.
Old building, lack of facilities, the conveyor belt is just as bad as the building.
Only 1 toilet for each gender, when i say 1, it was 1, long queue is expected. And not to mention, it was not clean.

The departure terminal is quite new, but still not efficient.
They dont know how to take care and manage the building to keep it as fresh and clean as new.

The airport is located around twenty to thirty minutes from the center of Malang. The airport itself looks good. It is small but really convenient. You can check in right away and they provide many chairs. The spacious waiting room looks modern and clean.
There are some lounges available for certain flights or credit card holders. There are a couple of restaurants too just in case you need to grab some food before your flight.
I consider this airport as a comfortable one.

Small, clean, potential and modern airport. The announcement should be improved (trebble is better than bass) due to the crowded passanger inside waiting room. Few restaurants not so many choices.

My hometown airport with beautiful scenery, mountains and fields. The new departure terminal is bigger, cleaner, and modern. They need to add check in counter and improve its facilities for every desk. The arrival terminal is more traditional and small just like the old days. However, they have more flights now to Jakarta, Denpasar, Bandung, and even Makassar.

The good thing is the view surrounding the airport is beautiful. The arrival terminal of the airport itself is small and in desperate need of rennovation. The taxi service also needs an overhaul and some friendly competition. The cars are in bad shape. The departure terminal is doing much better, however. Still the lack of options as to eat and last minute shopping makes spendinv time at the airport such a bore.

It has a small flight terminal, but its clean and new so its comfortable. The fasilities are so-so and about restaurants, you can only find a store which sells pie and stuff.

Previously for military service only, small but nice aiport location at outer of malang city. No many option for airline and public transportation (only taxi and ojek) you must spend about $8 to go to batu city.
Need many improvement from goverment to expand this airport.
