Maybe ok for domestic flights, but if you fly international you can not bring any water to the gate and there are no shops after last (4th) customs check. So just a room of benches and only a few power outlets.. no water, no shops, no entertainment nothing and you have to go through passport and ticket check again if you need to go to the toilet. We just bought a bottle of water after our bags had been checked twice and were at the gates which had shops. Not knowing we had to go for luggage check again at our gate and not being able to bring the bottle the airport just sold us.

Lombok is well known for a thousand mosques. Not only in the tourism places but also in the airport, it's really easy for moslems to pray since the mosque is easy to reach.

The gate for Lombok's tourism. Modern architecture with the local touch. Clean and comfortable to wait the flight time. There are some food stalls and coffee shops, so it will be nice to get coffee first before flight. With the friendly staffs and people, this place will always call us to visit Lombok.

Modern architecture with traditional concept and large place but still not clean. if you are new comer in the Lombok Island don't worry with many people around the airport just take it easy. Cause there are some reasons why many people out there:
1. They just wanna see airplane closer cause they just seen airplane on the sky above their house, and they always imagine that how they feel when flying with airplane, that's what I thinking too. So don't feel weird when the kids asking money to the plane "kapal endeng kepeng" that's historical motto in Sasaknese.
2. As local people as a habitual, when their family goes to abroad, their family member will accompany till the airport cause in Lombok Island that is one of how they appreciated their respect and filling lav to the family member itself.

i just wanna make it clear that even Bali and Lombok has different religion but I will guarantee local people will respect u as long u respect our culture and dont forget to bring your Guide. Why in Bali u never found in Lombok cause Bali have been influenced by western culture.

and the important things is u can arrive with save to the Lombok Island, if u feel unwell it's just so simple, get Away

Nice small airport with cafés etc. The security three times is a little over the top, but it was at least it was about customer protection and not the usual customer disruption as in so many S.E Asia airports. When landing here my wife lost her glasses and the ground teams made a great effort and found them for her. An airport that is a pleasure to use.

This is not the worst airport I have been to, but I guess it belongs in the group of the less memorable. The structure itself is not too bad (the airport has a very provincial feeling to it). The airport is not that old, but the management doesn't seem to keep it up, and especially the area where you enter and leave the airport is very chaotic with too much (local) people (offering rides etc). The check-in area has a very loud noise level. It gives you a headache after a while. The staff that work here are mostly friendly, but some of the store clerks can be rude. The second level after check-in (departure) is somewhat better, but in high season it must be way too crowded here too. The loud speakers make you go crazy after a while (too loud, and too many anouncements). I traveled in the low season so the second level was a good break for me - and it has some nice small stores to do the last shopping (including a book store!). The restrooms are too small - and needs better cleaning (if it hadn't been for the bathrooms I would have given this airport a weak ***). The feling after having visited Lombok International Airport is that it is too small already for the increasing tourism marked, and that it has some way to go before it reaches true international standard. More fun to visit: Garuda's Terminal 3 in Jakarta.

The only one airport in Lombok has a new design but still not enough to reach all the airline's route at a good time. From Bali, you only have 3 Planes option, such as Garuda, Lion or Wings air, there's no Citilink or AirAsia from Bali to Lombok. Need some improvement to enlarge the building, at least the passenger will be happy to get a chair to waiting than still standing for waiting for some unpredictable delay.

The airport is good enough with enough facilities. But when it's crowded, you'll find it hard to get a seat in the waiting room. It's a small airport, don't expect too much. Over all, it's good.

Small international airport with pretty good service and clean. In the afternoon is usually crowded by passengers. However, outside the airport (especially parking area) may not seem good because too many people passing by.

Nice small airport, World's best halal honeymoon destination in 2016, not so many souvenir shops which is quite strange considering Lombok has a lot of merchandise and local food, restroom cleanliness needs improvement.

No hassles with anything (on my one visit here).
There's one main entrance, you go through a security first that scans so fast you can carry 30kg of anything & they wouldn't notice..
Checking into Wings Air mid afternoon involved minimal waiting; my 11kg extra luggage incurred me an invoice, so I left my bag with the check in counter, went & paid 60,500 at the cashier, came back & gave him receipt & he waved me on. Second security upstairs was equally painless & rapid.
There's only 2 TV screens displaying flights, that I saw in the whole airport, but so few gates that there's no problem finding where to go. From my Kuta hotel to waiting at my gate, took an hour only.

For international departures, you have to clear security twice. You go through the security, you go shopping and buy your water for the flight, then you have to go through the security again before reaching the gate and they take away your water. Great organisation.

If you want to take any taxi that does not screw you up, walk all the way outside the airport gate and avoid the aggressive gang that is monopolising the airport. Terrible experience

This airport seems to be in descent size & pretty modern. Touched down around 11pm, all shops and restaurants were closed.

There was an ATM centre.. BCA/Mandiri/BRI.
Lots of hotel, travel and transportation hospitality desks on the way out of the building.

Ticket counters are very slow service, and it make a long queue at each ticket counter. Expecially for Lion air and Air Asia.
The airport is pretty good, but you should put read corner. Wifi is well!

Near arrival spot there is a Damri bus kiosk. You can buy tickets there to several destinations. Prices are mu-u-u-uch cheaper then taxi.

Lombok airport and AirAsia engaged in nasty practices of overcharging tourists $40 for small photo tripod(same tripod traveled all over the world without problem). I've seen how angry and disappointed are other people as well, one chinese tourist has been searched meticulously, just because they seen photo bag, and they found tiny gopro mount and took it from him. I strongly suspect it is some scam scheme running, as they try to charge extra if you try to put it in luggage. This airport is a shame point for whole country, if authorities will not look about it.

Arrived lombok airport and decided to get a simcard with data plan in the convenient store. Paid 145k with assurance of 25g data only to find out later it was only with less than 5G. I would recommend all who wants to get sim card with data plan to walk out further near the exit door and you will see 2 carrier companies outside with legit sim cards.

Pretty okay, not a lot of shops but pretty decent for an airport. The waiting room is kind of confusing because multiple flight are condensed into 2 big rooms. It could be difficult to go anywhere without cars tho. However, there is a city shuttle bus.

Lol Worst airport ever Main shopping area consists of 5 souvenir shops, not even a duty free Once past immigration and security it's just a large essentially outside room, no shops, no nothing I asked where I could buy a water and they said go see the security guys, so I did, who gave me a bottle of water they had confiscated from someone. They made me drink it there in front of them, because obviously you're not allowed water in the waiting barn.

And the announcements were far too loud

Small international Airport. Food is good especially Solaria Resto, but inside, after security check it gets really expensive (32.500 for a can of coke). There are lot of restaurants and an indomaret in the public area. You can also check in and drop your luggage and leave the area. You only have to make security check (not that bad if not crowded) again to go to the plane.

Small but efficient. Some shady taxi drivers inside who try to rip you off. Better go directly to the taxi stand outside and negotiate with them or take the (much cheaper) bus.

Payed 250K for taxi to Senggigi. They will say traffic jam (they lie). Get taxi outside airport (not joking). Be generous, give tip if they take you precisely where you need to go.

Arrival:
Immigration was quick for arrival.

Coupon Taxi (MPV) is after the arrival baggage claim exit on your the right. There is a few company here. You can take the coupon taxi here instead of outside if you don't want to haggle. There is price listed to the places you want to go (see photo I upload) but you can try get IDR50k cheaper than the price stated. Our hotel already inform us that is should be round IDR250k but the price listed is IDR300k. When we try to walk away to another operator she quickly say IDK250k.
**We took bluebird taxi back to airport, they use meter. Cost us around IDR200k (including IDR5k for the taxi entry fees into the airport). Bluebird meter taxi is the best options.

After arrival there is 3 telco counter/stalls.
Sim card for data is super cheap and the connection is fast. 4G
I would recommend TELKOMSEL(red) or XL (blue) they are the biggest telco in Indonesia. Check my photos for more options, they have up to 1GB for 160IDR.
1GB is around IDR35k
3GB is IDR50K with 60mins call
Good for 60days

Departure:
Small airport. No air conditioning. Very hot. Time your departure well.

Come early. There is a scanner before check in counters for safety reasons. Queue are super long because it's both for local and international flights.

Another scanner at your gate.
After this scanner, there will be no toilet, water fountain or drinks dispenser. Limited seatings here prepare to stand if you are late.

The information system is terrible. You cant trust the information on the monitors. Everything goes through the pa-system. A ten year old could handle IT better.

Small Airport, remote from the tourist hotspot in Senggigi area.
Strange security check, not very clean and very crowded in the Boarding Gate area.

On the plus side: Free wifi, some Shops and bars and fast boarding

Flying in from Soekarno/jakarta we were out of the airport in less then 5 minutes. Luggage was already unloaded en the rest was easy. Looks clean.

The airport is alright. As soon as you step out, get ready to run off the people chasing you. You will feel as a walking dollar straight away.
My gf was asked by a random guy to hand her passport to him. Just be aware and focused.
Lombock is the next Bali, but not there yet in terms of behaving with the visitors.
You can absolutly feel how the Religion different influences between Bali and Lombock are there from the very begining.
