Arrived and immediately greeted and upgraded to suite, well that alone makes it a five! Attentive service especially as we started to panic waiting for our taxi to the airport! They calmly called them up and encouraged them to come quickly, which they did. Suite was excellent, no bath but fantastic walk in shower. Not noisy from road or bar and comfortable bed facing massive dual sided TV. Breakfast could have offered more choice for the deal we were on but only a minor complaint on excellent stay.

    Fantastic Hotel

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel only has 10 rooms which was nice because it was quiet after a long day of trekking around. The restaurant was very cute, we had a meal here and coffee on evening, great service and food. The hotel has been renovated and has a modern look to it but still has the feel of an old building. The rooms are a very good size for European rooms and the location is great on the hill next to the castle and a couple other great restaurants. There is a bus station close by that takes you down the hill and to the metro stations. Make sure to take transportation to your hotel for the first time when you have your luggage. The hill to the castle is quite steep to walk. I would recommend this place to the traveler wanting a quite and classy hotel after a long day of touring Budapest.

Excellent restaurant and food was amazing. Excellent service: we were a big group with many small children. They gave drawing materials to the children. They were very patient with us and helpful.

We had an excellent stay at Pest-Buda. We did not expect to climb so many stairs to get to the property on "castle hill" but it was worth it. The location is perfect - away from all the hustle and bustle of the main city, but close to so many beautiful sights including Matthias church, Fisherman's bastion and Buda castle. The decor is very nice and the room was fancy, with all the things we needed. We also had a fantastic breakfast at the bistro, just delightful. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in Budapest!

The food were good and reasonable portion. The lamb was very good with the mash. I also had the goulash soup as a starter, it was a big portion with a lot of meat in it but the meat was a bit chewy for me.

The waiters were friendly and attentive.
Though I believe the restaurant seem to serve mainly tourists as I didn't really hear anyone speaking Hungarian inside the restaurant.

It cost us around £50 for two, we had two starters, two mains and a drink each (home made lemonade and a beer).

Decent food near the Fisherman's Bastion, there's a few nice seats outside too which are pleasant to sit in when it's sunny. However, prices are a bit on the steep side, you're definitely paying for the location. All the same, a decent bistro serving traditional food

This is by far one of the best boutique hotels I have stayed with impeccable service!!!!! The management (manager and assistant manager) is so pleased to help you with your every request. They give great suggestions from directions to where to shop. It is a great location, 5 min walk to the Buda Castle and Matthius Church. Amazing hotel!!!!! If I could give more stars, I would.

Enjoyed an early dinner here and had the best goulash soup we found in the whole of our visitbut maybe we hadn't looked hard enough! The food was good, prices reasonable and in a great location. Can't go wrong stopping here for lunch or dinner.
