I saw mouse in the room. And the reception lady was too rude. Unfortunately I already booked 7 days. And it was horrible.

What? Palinka? What's that? I'm not poor :)
And this is 21c not 18c. OMG mouse!!!!
Don't upgrade free breakfast, parking and so on.
    I don't want these upgrade.
Please upgrade your service spirit and upgrade your utility.

The staff were friendly and helpful, there was a fan and was positively surprised there was also a travel adaptor in the room!! However, the furniture in the room was old and creaky, the tv looked like it was from the 90s, the lift was old and creaky, the shower doors were broken and no one fixed them. I would only stay here again if the place had a refurb. Not a bad place to stay, but it could have been better.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. The reason we stayed in this hotel is because it was part of a travel package. The only positive thing was that the young man and blond lady at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. Other staff was not hospitable at all. Rooms are not well maintained and cleaned. In fact, cleaning staff only did the bare minimum. They did not clean the sink, toilet or shower, they did not change used glasses. They only changed our towels, which was just one large each. Additionally, my watch disappeared while staying in this hotel. I talked to a different lady at the reception about it and she showed no effort to do anything, and rather made us feel like we're asking too much from her. It does definitely NOT meet 3 stars standards, and I am well aware of the fact that standards vary in different countries. I've been to many places, and even simple hostels offer better hygiene and customer service than this place.

Low price, easy access to metro/train. But not the cleanest or coziest rooms.

Unfortunately, I cannot tell you how things are in this hotel, because they have relocated me upon arrival to another hotel with a worse TripAdvisor rating, one that I would not have booked, if given the option.

They were reluctant to give an explanation for this. I also mailed them they day before announcing my arrival and received no response whatsoever. So yeah, it's kinda frustrating.

I probably should have given a 1 star rating for this, so they never do this to someone again, but I'm giving a two star rating since they at least bothered to relocate me.

We were booked to stay there for 3 nights. We had to move out and find another hotel after the first night. Room was dusty, old decor the bed was two single beds pushed together to make a "double" & carpet was old and dirty, not a good experience

Stayed for 4 nights. Really nice hotel and affordable. Room was a huge size with an extra bed in it as well! Mini fridge, TV, loads of wardrobe and storage space. So glad there was AC as well. Staff were polite and great at giving us directions. Breakfast twice at the hotel was lovely. Only issue was the sockets in our room were hanging from the walls and there was a hole where one was meant to be. It was a little grime around the hole but not an issue! Definitely will stay again.

Loved the city hated this hotel, was disgusting. The Bathroom was horrible, very dirty with a black fungus on the wall, the cleaning of the room consisted in empty the trash can (never clean the floor or anything else). The personal was OK, nothing spectacular, had a problem when I wanted to buy a Budapest Card and the receptionist was not informed of the offers that comes with the card, She told me several times "this card is only for transport" and it's not true I entered to museums and took a bath for free with my card (as the web page says) I told her that and She again: "No, it's only to take metro and bus". I don't recommended this place and I am not coming back. Far away from everything even Metro (8 blocks walking). I'm sure you can find better for the same price in the city and even if you have to pay more is worth the spend. I would like to have -5 stars for you.
