One of the main tourist attraction in Budapest. In the center of the castle area it is always crowded. They organize classical concerts. Visiting is not free but a must in Budapest.

Beautiful Gothic Cathedral, specifically the colorful tile roof and ornate tower. The interior is not as impressive as the exterior, but the setting is very picturesque. A must see if visiting Budapest.

Very spiritual place. Beautiful architectural design inside and outside. It feels like you are in different time and century.

Not worth the wait or costs from my point of view. Would highly recommend any other church in the city. All just as beautiful, less crowded and for free. Unless you wanna see a historical place and nice inside walls. The Bastille costs extra money and the panorama access as well

A Church with a gift shop inside! ~5 € entrance. yes the church is nice, but this is too commercial. A gift shop in a church. Ok, make profit, but please outside of the church.

Great looking church surrounded by many things to see. One part looking over the whole town. A must place to come if you like photography.

Absolutely beautiful. If you are fit to climb 197 small steps, then buy a ticket and take the tower tour. The views are incredible and the roof of Mattias Chirch is so beautiful (see pic).

Amazing church. You must go inside, do not hesitate to pay for it. Beautiful painted walls, pretty stained glass walls and you can go up to the gallery. There are few chances in churches to have a look from above. Even they allow you to go inside a kind of Royal Box above the altar. There's a free guide in English you can take with you to help you in your visit but it is printed too small to read.

Beautiful church on the top of a hill . There are entrance tickets both for the church and the tower (tower tours start every hour) with discounts for students. The church itself is small but beautiful, with golden ornaments, paintings and statues and two small exhibitions (religious artifacts as early as the 18th century and King Charles IV coronation, 1916). It is an important part of Hungarian history.
