Very much worth the entry fee, this is the most historic, oldest and newly renovated church, impressive organ and art exhibits.
Take time for reflecting in peace and ideally pray a while.

Quite underestimated church of medieval origin with well preserved frescoes and renaissance tabernacles. Definitely worth to visit.

Unfortunately it does not worth the entry fee. For 1000 forints you have nearly anything. You can visit the simple inside and the cave where you also have nearly anything. Nothing is written or explained and they shut down the lights after 10 minutes in the cave. I wouldn't suggest to anyone just if you really know the story of the church and this is your specificity.

Clean, quiet sanctuary from the city outside.
Peaceful church with simple exterior but elegant & decorated interior. Good place for a quick prayer, anytime.

Amazing gracious woman in desk. She tells you about all the church in perfect english. Church is huge with lots of details not to be missed. Take the cheap guide (1 euro) to learn about the church and its secrets. I liked the sculpture of a pregnant Virgin Mary, not an usual theme. There's a bone of a Saint engraved in the High Altar. And a great fresco from 14th century discovered by chance in 2010 behind a painted wall. Entry fee is 3 euros but it worths it.

Nice but pretty average looking church compared to many in Budapest.

Though I didn't manage the time to visit the church, interesting bit of history about it is that when the Elizabeth bridge was being rebuilt, they had to 'move' the church since it was in the way. Standing at the structure, really gave me a sense of the awe people must have felt when it was being rolled away.

One of the oldest church in the city with mix of many styles (Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque)
